FYI, if the game is going to have 2+ hour queues remove the inactivity logout when in queue, queueing is bad enough, having to worry about getting logged out while in queue, even worst.
There are other Camps for this exact reason.

Or they could simply add more servers like they just did. I seriously doubt this is a hit or miss shoot in the dark situation. Any Systems Engineer/Architect worth their salt who has the actual data available to them (i.e. a ZOS employee) can easily calculate load and knows exactly what the numbers are. As I mentioned in another thread, I just hope they bought enough to raise it, and we are not stuck with this low pop forever, as low pop has it's own issues aside from long queues, it basically changes the gameplay considerably.

I don't think it works like that. They didn't add anything. They just replaced.

It's higher than than. Routinely see 90+ on the counter addon. Second hand I've heard it's around 100 and then increases by 1 for each player in queue. I don't think it's a static cap.

Only ZOS knows that, but since PVE performs about the same and PVP just got a HUGE performance boost, it sort of goes without saying there are more compute resources dedicated to Cyrodiil now than there were two weeks ago. The same thing happened every MYM, they dedicate more resources, it runs great for the event with 10x the amount of players, the event ends and it ran like garbage again. They basically gave Cyrodiil more horsepower, how much more, who knows?

Not really an option when you are homed in GH and that is where you and your friends play. I think about half our regular group made it in last night. Those of us on the west coast couldn't, since the queue was so long before we even got off work.

Region locked servers would help, it's silly to allow entry for the whole world onto one popular server campaign.
NA mega server should be only game clients from NA, SA, AU, & JP.
