    I hope they do it quarter 3 or 4. We are at sea so this would be good time no?

    the main thing i would prefer is that there be an option to "minigame" fishing, it is the primary reason i do not fish because of the annoying "minigame" instead of being able to treat it like any other material harvest node

    i suggest make the minigame optional because there are people that do enjoy it, but i do not, and therefore do not participate in fishing much unless its required to obtain something

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    in progress: acquiring mundus stones (currently only have the thief)

    I am sure they can improve fishing, but the current mechanics I am okay with. I would just like to see more stuff we can fish up, like in Summerset. Is that really to much to ask for ZoS? 🙂

    I don't care for fishing in general and I don't think it's something the devs should be focusing on right now, but I might have cared more if it was a more worthwhile activity. Last time they added any tangible rewards to fishing was in Summerset chapter with the gunny sacks with good recipes and Pyandonean motif. Yeah, there was technically some leads added to fishing since then, but that's expanding on Antiquities without adding anything to fishing itself. I just don't want them to add more stuff to fishing and call it another major year-long-chapter-feature because that would be underwhelming, that kind of update should be a base game addition.

    We need something to make it a little better. Sure there's perfect roe, but even if you have amazing luck with it, it's still less than half the gold per hour than running around harvesting (which is arguably more fun). I got the achievements for each zone and see no need to fish until High Isle releases, and then I'll be done with that one in a few hours.

    i want them to improve fishing mechanically first before they start locking a bunch of stuff behind it

    they already locked a bunch of leads behind fishing which for people who dont enjoy the dumb minigame aspect of fishing is just frustrating

    I'd love them to enhance fishing, but the evidence is that in order to accommodate the card game within their apparent data storage capacity they're removing existing data, not adding to it.
