04/30/2014 11pm PST MEGA Skill Lag and Button Unresponsiveness

Logged in tonight and immediately noticed that hitting regular attack was nonstop unresponsive and only sometimes activated a whole SECOND later after holding the button down. All skills are lagged and mobs are not reacting to getting hit. Also my life is gone before my life bar even shows it. My game is running at 99 fps so my connection is NOT the issue. I restarted MULTIPLE times. Game is completely unplayable right now. What did you do?!?!?!?!?

Edit: Started a download through Steam and am running at 3 mbps. NOT my connection.

Edit: I understand this kind of thing was happening earlier right after patch but I was not home to experience it. However I am home now and I can tell you that on my end, it's not fixed.

I've yet to log in since the US server went down at 6 AM yesterday morning but it's been a known issue. Server wide lag for the hour or so pre-patch. Apparently after it was applied and the servers came back up there's still been issues. Don't know how widespread these issues are but I would imagine you aren't the only one.

Still having problems, actually. Lag can be on your end IF your attacks aren't connecting, but lag is CERTAINLY on the server side if the enemies are also lagging. And I just spent 30 minutes trying to kill the Dark Mane because he and I both lag jumped through the fight, and the sever has been randomly booting me off all evening. It's having lag about like I got the last two weekend on Saturday night.

I was just in game with no lag 20 minutes ago. You sure its not just your connections routing?

I've shut down and logged back in four times this last 20 minutes and same problem. I have started and stopped downloads between then for 3 mbps speeds. My connection is flawless everywhere else except the game atm. I have never once experienced this at all the entire time I've played since pre-launch.

In the 25 minutes I've been typing here, I've downloaded a 4 gig game just for testing purposes.

i had a simular problem, you should go to bleepingcomputer and get them to do a checkup of your computer, can be some unidentified program that uses your connection, or at the very least check out if you have same problem in other games like ESO. could be some malware, and they are good at hiding the small ones that dont cause much destruction.

I just logged into both Rift and Secret World running around a zone with zero issues. I don't really want to play those games though...

That doesnt mean your isp isnt routing you through garbage connections.

Usually a traceroute will show you but I dont have an ip to trace.

This really should go in tech support.

Are there any specific moments you recall experiencing extreme latency? While questing? While running dungeons? While in Cyrodiil?
Are you experiencing this on NA or EU Megaserver or both?

I play as a summoner and some times the pets just stay there looking at me, while the enemy npc is killing me! Also if I try to cast a spell to an NPC, I may have to click the button, twice or 3 times, to start casting.

I dont play cyrodiil, its my thing that I love open world pvp, not premades. But either ways, there is a problem with HIGH END gpus, I got gtx780 and I run the game with 20-30 fps. While other people with low end gpus, run it twice and even 3 times more fps than me! So Cyrodiil is out of the question, I would lag like a lagster in performance!

I only played some cyrodiil for questing, without people arround me, before I start leveling my veteran ranks
