Crown Crates need a serious rework on drops

Let me start by saying I have been playing this game for 6 years now and today I have made the decision to never purchase a single crown pack or crate again until the drops are re-worked. I know my money is only a drop in the lake but I encourage others to do the same until a re-work happens.

Over the last week I have opened 62 Storm Atronach Crown Crates, in those Crown Crates (over $150 worth) I received not a single apex mount and 450 gems which is just barely enough to buy one. This shouldn't be that way, one shouldn't have to spend a huge some of money (even if you purchase crowns from other players with in game gold) in order to get 1 of these mounts. I understand the crown store funds a large part of the game and I don't have any issue with purchasing crown store items but the crown crates are very predatory in their current state. Now I'm not here to just complain I would also like to offer a couple of re-work options that I think would make it significantly more reasonable.

Re-work 1: Offer a guaranteed random Apex Mount roll if it has been 30 crates since receiving the last one. Assuming that someone bought the best value crown pack this would still equate to about $70 worth of crates which is more than fair in price to at least get an apex mount.

Re-work 2: Include a random amount between 5-10 crown gems per crate opened as its own separate deal. This means in a 15 pack you would also be given 75-150 crown gems in addition to the rewards you get meaning that in a 30 crate pack you can definitely buy a mount with that.

The current system is very frustrating, everything else in the crown store is very clear as to what you get but the crown crates are pure gambling and offer 80% junk with little reward to actually get something you want if your RNG isn't good.

My man I feel just as much pain from the crates as you do. Unfortunately, no matter how good your ideas are, ZOS isn't going to ever rework them because they make so much money from them. In the time it takes a lot of "whales" to realize how jacked up the system is, they've already spent hundreds if not over a thousand dollars on crates which absolutely blows away people like you and me who refuse to buy them. They could lose > 25 ESO plus subscribers and still make more from 1 whale splurging his savings on crown crates to get a glowy horse.

Your system looks great. Both re-works in fact. But they also will never be touched from a gambling legality stand point due to the implementation of seals of endeavor, which was done solely to prevent any sort of legality against exploitation of gambling addictions that we're seeing in various European countries. It takes > 6 months of doing every single seal of endeavor challenge to get 1 radiant apex mount. Just 1. This is not adding a "fun edge" to gameplay. This is solely so they can point to it and say, "See! They can earn store/crown crate items by playing the game!" Even though the reality is that a normal gamer isn't going to be able to get one of those mounts for a very long time.

It's a pretty unfortunate scenario and SO MANY people have asked for a mount/cosmetic/pet rework in this game where we can actually earn this kinda stuff by playing the games either through rare drops or achievements, but it's just one of those cash-shop-heavy games unfortunately. Cheers!

If you compare older seasons to current ones, you can notice the sharp difference in quality.
