Dream-Walk into Darkness still bugged.

They said they fixed it, but it's not? Not for the Ebonheart veteran zone anyway. Whenever I defeat them it doesn't change to the next objective, and I can't talk to the NPCs. Is it because I have to step out of the objective area in order to actually beat it? Does that make it reset or something? How many I need to kill, that is. By objective area I mean sometimes I step back too far and the arrow appears on my compass, instead of it being blue. Could that be the problem? Or did they just not really fix it?
Edit: Thanks guys but I already figured it out before anyone commented. For those who are having this issue and don't wish to search through the comments, you have to abandon, listen to his story again, and then beat them on the first try.

LeightonKaridian✭✭✭@Sarah_Lynn If you die while attempting to kill the warriors, you need to abandon the quest and begin again.

WilliamTee✭✭✭There's a couple of other threads up about this one too, and I myself got stuck here for several hours last night.
As above, the solution is simply to not die, or restart the quest if you do.
As for not dying, I made my first ever esohead contribution about this quest due to the number of hours lost attempting it with some tips as how to get through the ancient warriors.

I feel your pain...This bugged quest was driving me crazy... I have tried this quest 3 times now (restarts) and spent a ton on fixing equipment...Tough for an archer based character to handle that melee rush, but good to read the way around bug is not to die
... I will weight a few levels and go bad and try it. 0 -
Jin✭Went in a group and got past the glitch first try, so I recommend doing that until ZM finds time between creating more buggy content to fix their existing buggy content.0
