in some mmos u can give the item u want to be upgraded/crafted to another player and they can do it for u
specificly i was wondering if some high level crafter can upgrade to legendary for u?
and before anyone says how it would ruin the point of crafting keep in mind to each their own and some players prefer doing something else rather than lvling crafting

+1 also not only for bound item, another problem is we can avoid scam that people will just simply take your item and leave0

✭✭✭✭✭Loot received as rewards for quests often comes in the form of bound items, and gear converted to Imperial style by an Imperial Edition player becomes bound, but otherwise you can send items back and forth all you like.

As others have said, as long as the item is not bound, you should be able to hand it to a craftsperson you trust to improve the item.
Some bound items include:
Unique world boss drops.
Quest rewards once equipped.
World drop set bonus items once equipped (e.g. of the Warlock, of the Healer).
Crafted set bonus items once equipped (e.g. Twilight's Embrace, Hunding, etc.)
Imperial Edition converted items.1 -

As long as it's not bound it works fine. What I recommend is finding a friend or guild-mate working on a crafting type that you aren't. Then if either of you need stuff upgraded, just give the items to the other person to do it. Mutual benefit.1
