Cannot load into PTS

Like the title says. Would start up the game, it goes through the main menu to the intro cinematic - skip through the cinematic and into the loading screen where it would stop loading. Even after 10 minutes the screen is stuck there. The program is responding it just won't load into the main menu.

Go to "Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\pts" and look for a file "ShaderCache.cooked". If it's there, it should be around 33MB in size. If it's significantly smaller or bigger, that might be the issue. Delete the file (it will be regenerated, which might take a bit). Then verify your PTS client's game files, open the game, and reset video settings (and potentially lower them again, if you have to), before trying to enter the game again.

If you're still playing using an HDD (rather than an SSD), just let it sit in the loading screen after the above steps, it might indeed take quite a bit of time (although 10 mins sounds really extreme to me).

@Sallymen Did the suggestion work for you?
Because I have a similar (?) problem and would try this if it worked for you.
I try to access the PTS since it came back up on Monday.
    But nothing.
I only get to the main log in screen. It logs in, goes to the loading screen, but I never make it to the character log in. Because then it just stops loading. The turning circle just stops moving and everything freezes and the only thing I can do is stop the task in the task manager, because even just closing the window doesn't do anything. If I minimise or maximise the window, the screen just turns black.
There is nothing in the task manager saying it's not reacting. The task manager says the application is still working, as in costing resources and all. But nothing is there, either just a black screen or a frozen screen mid loading screen.

And nothing I do works. I tried to repair the PTS, nothing. Starting it in Admin mode, like the FAQ to the PTS suggests, nothing.
I started it via Steam and via..exe, no difference.
The only thing I didn't try was starting it in full screen mode, as for some reason the PTS always starts in windowed mode for me and I haven't changed it so far, because it didn't make a difference before now.

I actually tried this method and it worked. Thank you very much for suggesting it :)
