First experience with Mirri

    I've only recently started using Bastien and if he has any perks I haven't noticed them. It's also annoying to hear him say "This is a good area for harvesting" no matter where I stop to harvest something, not to mention his loss of raport every time I loot a thieves' cache out in the wild.

    mirris perk is the 30% chance of treasure bag

    bastions perk is 30% chance that normal generic pots (mag/stam/hp) to become a slightly upgraded variant

    for example the HP pot, turns into an HP + mag restore pot
    the mag pot turns into a mag + dmg buff pot
    the stam pot turns into a stam + dmg buff pot

    the pots would be nice but because of the lower drop chance of that occurring they stack up much much slower than the normal generic pots

    it is nice once you get the keepsakes though for these passives to always be active regardless which companion you have out, or if you had one out at all to begin with

    i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

    I find that when mirri is equipped with range weapons she tends to withdraw too much and sometimes can provoke aggro with another mob

    Y'all despawn your companions when doing bad rapport activities?
    I keep them on always, they have to know my dark sides as well, weather they like it or not. I reached max already, and since there's no romance, there's no point on keeping it up high anymore.

    (That said, it would be cool if there was a romance option, in a way that would allow us to use scrolls of Mara to get the exp buff, the only other human person I play the game with is my brother and there's absolutely no danged way I'm going to "marry" him!)

The majority of people who have Bastian die as a tank, 1) don't have the right gear and 2) don't have the right skills equipped... but then blame the companion when it's the player not knowing how to properly equip the companion. I have Bastian in all blue Vigorous, with purple sword and shield in Vigorous. I have Kindle, Drake's Blood, Provoke, On Guard, and Ritual of Salvation skills slotted. I used to have Basalt Barrier equipped too, but he always activated both shields at the SAME TIME, so I took Basalt out because the damage mitigated is so small and my Magplar doesn't need any additional protection. With Vigorous gear giving him a huge amount of health, the other shield and Drake's Blood scale better as well as they scale with max health.

    Purple gears are hard to attain, and expensive to buy.

    This one’s philosophy is, work with what you have got, and make the most of it. The game is what it is. When this one can’t even heal companions properly or do damage because skill bars are not firing, what is one to do?

    There’s no need to be rude and call other players inexperienced.

    I used to despawn Bastian to loot thieves troves but not any more. It's only 5 rapport and I gain it back right away as I'm playing.

    As far as romance, if my companion was Jakarn I'd be much more concerned with how he feels about me. But Bastian... no thanks.

    Mirri is a horrible person, she's not okay with me murdering someone cold blood with my blade of woe, but she's okay with me biting someones throat off...

    Nah. Mirri is just being pragmatic. You being a werewolf and can’t help your blood lusty head biting.

    As with the blade of woe, who’d want to argue with a Dark Brotherhood assassin? If this one makes a new friend and they suddenly takes this one to his deadly assassins’ guild, show off his werewolf prowess and other murderous and thieving tendencies, this one would be very, very, cautious with vocalising concerns.

    Unless it has to do with torch bugs and 🦋 ;)
