Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• PC/Mac: No maintenance – April 6

It takes way too long to do daily crafting writs on consoles (and possibly PC too)

You also just got to accept that if you want the add on stuff. Your gonna have to move to pc.

Well they have added add-on stuff to the main game before, just got to have patience really. And constant forum posts.

Why are you doing writs on so many characters every day? Nobody is making you do that... go do something else in the game. There's so much other content that is far more fun than doing crafting writs, I don't understand why you spend you whole day diddling around at crafting stations.

Maybe give us an option to complete our daily writs on multiple characters at a time, or have them work on them offline (and sell the junk and deposit tagged items automatically to a banker or mechant). Stuff that would be easy to do with an add-on (and already has been done) but has not graced the console players yet.

There is no add-on that allows you to do daily writs on multiple characters, have them work offline.

Yes, there are add-ons that allow you to sell junk automatically, but they make mistakes, people lose valuable things occasionally with them (especially the destroy ones, as those are unrecoverable)

If they could make PS4 as fast as PC with addons I don't think there'd even be a need for this conversation, but a lot of people have the thought that it takes the same time on all systems with no addons and I don't even know what to respond to those people except have fun and maybe one day others will too.

Get a PS5 then, atm WE have the fastest load times.

IKR... imagine expecting load screens on a 9 year-old console (the architecture, not their specific PS4) to be as fast as current generation console or an up-to-date PC. I can play ESO on my 8 year old laptop... but I can't run more than a handful of add-ons, and it takes twice as long to do anything with 1/4th the framerate.

Besides my first quick post I just want to say that I do craft on 10 chars every day and on PS5 it literally takes about an hour at most to do. And that's with all 10 chars also visiting the bequeather to get extra free herbs. Seriously tho, if you can get your hands on a PS5 (took me 6 months on a waiting list to get mine :() you will notice the difference, it's huge. And you will look back on this thread and laugh at yourself for even making it.

Literally no one is expecting that. There are easy ways to make things happen without having to load the characters each time.

    Greetings,

After review of this thread it seems to have run it's course and derailed form constructive discussion, and as such we have closed it down. The ESO forums are intended to be a place for all ESO players to share ideas and engage in civil conversation, and while disagreements are natural in the thought sharing process, baiting, mocking, or otherwise provoking conflict is never acceptable on the Forums.
