The thread is about BG queues, not dungeons. That said, in all the iterations of the BG queue, for all it's faults and stumbles, I have never had a BG queue be 35 minutes long, even outside prime time. I've had solo dungeon queues that long, but not BG queues.NordSwordnBoard wrote: »
Sigh. Join a guild, make a team of 4, go straight in. It's really not that hard.

I was always told it was a lot faster for DDs going in as a pre-made with a tank and healer already in their group. I always run healer so I'm generally oblivious to ques, but my guilds DDs were amazed at the speed we used to get in.

I just find it stupid that we can't see our MMR, it's just absurd.

I did read the OP, even if it was poorly written. Among his minor issues, by the title and for all players to partake in games remark, I assume (possibly incorrectly) he's neither a tank or a healer. If I join the solo queue I am in a fight within minutes with my healer. If I join group queue with a premade we enter within minutes. It seems this is not the same for DDs?
ZOS seem to be rigid on their trinity teams thing, and there's a lot more DDs than anything else. So it's an issue only the players can resolve. Thankfully, there's an easy option available. Join a guild or roll as a healer or a tank.
Am I wrong? @coop500 may be saying so. Does it not work like dungeons? I always just have healer selected on the group finder panel and I'm in within a minute or two. Am I stupendously lucky, or am I missing something?
If I am stupendously lucky, I sure as heck wish that luck would transfer to my jester coffer rewards. Style pages have been lacking.
Oh, and as for MMR and player disco replacements, @SkaraMinoc pretty much hit the nail on the head. They're never going to put much effort into BG. Or anything else PvP related, sadly.
If this is the case, why would you wait 35 + minutes for a match? Surely after 5 minutes you'd duck out and re queue?
Am I taking a ridiculously hyperbolic OP too much to his word, or is there an issue I'm unaware of with BG queues?
There was a lot of pretty disappointing smugness at DM players when ZOS mentioned the DM only queues were low pop, but I guess it turns out no one wants to play objective matches, either.

what i dont like about the default queue warning is it doesnt put the notification on screen if you are in combat, just in the notification menu, but you only have about 45 seconds to hit the ready check before it expires

Of course, it'd be a little awkward to have an add on auto-accept the queue for you, and then sleep through the Battlegrounds match you got into.
