Is this effecting EU the same as NA? Should we all re-roll on the vastly superior EU servers now?

The PC/EU server was a normal login for me. The PC/NA is a no go. Just did it to test things out.

How does one transfer their account to a working server or game?

EU has more spread prime time, where as NA prime time is very tight window, hence the issues are so much more obvious during prime time on NA.

I guess that is a serious question - your account is valid on both, EU and NA servers - but you have a different set of characters, possessions and achievements on each of them. You select the server to be used on the login screen, I guess it is in the upper left corner, where you select it.

During last week's "issues" on NA the EU server worked without a hitch. Thankfully
I have toons on EU so I had something I could do.

And it's the same now, EU fine, NA, not so much.

This was something I was thinking about last week also. I wonder how you can do this?

Oops, I missed your post Lysette I see now. Thanks

You can't transfer anything between them, everything is separate. If you have ESO+ though, you have it on both.

you can't play your NA characters, you would be starting a new one from scratch

Ok so ESO+ is the only thing you take with you. Char and all stats stay on NA, right?

Thanks, not going to restart so will stay here. Thanks for the info guys.

any chapter you purchased carrys over, any crown store related purchase does not, you might not be able to use same character name, as your starting over basically

Also, I believe you share your crowns across both, a common pool so be carefull what you buy with crowns and on what server.

pc-eu is ok, as far as I know.

Peak time for pc-na is pretty dead on pc-eu so it's actually a good time of day/night to play the other server for a change. I used to usually play eu but, when it had lots of issues that went on for over a year, i think that's when I started playing on pc-na.

Changed days - always used to be pc-eu that was trashed; kind of surprising to see the stalwart na server nosedive like this.

Restarting sounds interesting, until I remember the research grind/wait once you get past the fifth/sixth trait. Waiting for the servers to stabilize again becomes a sensible choice.

Yeah, the EU server seems to be working fine - I had a really nice time in Murkmire just a bit ago.

I believe it depends on timing. I'm in EU playing on NA, and see no problems: the key is probably that I don't play at peak NA times.
Also, I can see the difference between week and weekend: over the weekend, I see a meaningful change in the performances. Seems to confirm it is related to the amount of population.

If it's the case, then if many would move from NA to EU, the problem would move over with them, and the troubled server would be EU one.
I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA

I already have characters on both servers. Unless everything is down I'm good to go. :)
Fan of playing magblade since 2015. (PC NA)
    Might be joking in comments.

I remember when EU used to be red headed step child before they got server upgrade

Before that steam was it. Everyone was like absolutely don't buy there.

    Now it's PC NA

Could well be population related - I experience frequent stutter in very crowded places - but as well in locations with an overuse of particle effects (even if not many people are around). So I'm not sure, if it is purely crowded places or more that in crowded places are also a lot more particle effects present. What creates always a short moment of freeze, is when one of these overdone apex mounts spawns - sound and visuals stutter for a moment. They are not well done in these regards.
