So so true. I saw motif books going for 2 grand early on, two days later I offered one up for that price and got some pretty nasty comments...It is not an exploit because it has no real in-game value. The fact that people are willing to pay ridiculous prices for them, because they are impatient, is not a game mechanic. That perceived value will fade away pretty quickly. It has already started.

Yup, they definitely reduced the number of active containers on subsequent logins .. I don't do it endlessly but like many here I mule a lot and if a mule is in one of the main banks I'll go check the chests etc. and I've seen a marked reduction in the number that aren't empty since last Friday.I think they nerfed it last patch anyway ...I seem to be finding more prepared food/drink in them since then.
It's legal to grind as in killing wolfs for leather or bosses the way bots do.darkrainb16_ESO wrote: »so im still a bit confused. If i do this for 3 or 4 days to make 500k+ gold, i won't get banned? or i will, just not for a while? It seems to be the fastest way to make gold at the moment.

This is really the wrong issue for anyone to be focusing on. People that pay for motifs instead of getting them themselves clearly aren't actually playing the game (all the motifs I got on my crafter were obtained by normal gameplay without intentionally resetting instances).
A fool and his money...
How depressing! I'd rather stick forks in my legs.darkrainb16_ESO wrote: »apparently they make 6 alts and cycle through them. do it for 8 hours straight.
I say no, totaly legal to log in for some minutes to check sale status or research. So I have something different. Completely hypothetical. So there's a location a friend of mine knows about where a chest spawns every couple of minutes. He parks his toon there and then, throughout the day when he's doing other things, he logs in picks the lock, loots the chest then logs back out again for a few minutes. Sometimes the chest is already looted but most of the time its' there.
He's looted that chest probably a couple hundred times.
Would that be considered an exploit?

This is not something we consider an exploit or bannable offense. Though it's working as designed, we do intend to make some improvements to the current design.
