Ps4. I have already let my yearly subscription run it's coarse due to all the unresolved performance issues(Lag, skill delays, positional desyncs, freezes, crashes...). The problems plaguing pc servers, I fear, will hit us even harder.
You need a new console. I switched from ps4 to series s. No lag, no crashes, DC'd once during Midyear (riding into a massive fight).
The old hardware simply isnt up to the job anymore.
I play this on my ps4 only because all of those issues were also occuring on my ps5. No, I do not need a new console. And no, it's not "old hardware". These issues are server side.
Absolutely zero problems running the game on PS5, besides the skill delays. But I think that one has to do something with how ZOS designed the controls (triggered on button release instead of press).
If you experience lag and positional desynchs, you might have a network problem. Hard wired or Wifi makes a ton of difference.

Also zero issues currently on my ps5

Someone above is probably right, the almighty schedule will be met regardless, I am afraid.
The only thing we can hope at this point is that they have to enact the rollback from AWA that was talked about as a last resort.
Maybe someone will finally realize that continuing down this broken road will be worse than not updating as planned, because that is surely what we are seeing now.

PC-NA has been having a terrible time, PC-EU where I play not so much, my guilds have still had high numbers online and chat hasn't been filled with comments about broken or not working stuff( besides addons and most of those are fixed now).
Personally my issues have been more related to how AWA works rather than poor performance/ broken stuff and tbh that is personal preference not the developers fault.
As consoles don't have addons hopefully everything will go fine, just remember if you have multiple characters and care who the achievement was earned by, read up and log into your characters in your favoured order! 💕

Personally, I find it a bit odd that people are so quick to blame addons rather than any possible AWA issues.
Please?
Our performance has been really good the last 3 months or so. Theres no hurry to get this out- 90% of people don't even do the dlc dungeons.
We endured some absolutely horrendous updates last year, I won't go through them all but it was as bad as I've seen it in 7 years.
And right now it's far more important to get the game running right on PC.

I'm as far away from the servers as possible (New Zealand) even in massive pvp battles- 100 plus people, I get very little if any lag on the new console.
It's like night and day.

We always wonder what new things they will break on console. Every time there is a new DLC, it breaks Cyrodiil in a new way.
