Arena Weapons Not Dropping on Normal Maelstrom or Dragonstar

I ran normal Maelstrom Arena on a couple low level characters, but none of the Maelstrom Weapons showed up in the final chest. I also just ran Dragonstar Arena with another person and didn't get any Master Weapon in the final chest. The other person, however, did get a Master Weapon.
Oddly enough, when I run vet Maelstrom, I get the Perfected Maelstrom weapons.
I haven't tried any of the other arenas yet.
Anyone else running into this issue?

Ah, ok. That explains it. For some reason I was under the impression that the Arena weapons were guaranteed items in the final chest. Thanks!0 -

They used to be. A few updates ago all the arenas were changed so the ability-altering weapons only drop for characters above level 50.0
