Necro is good and a fun class. Just still disappointed so much about its "pets". Imagine actual summoned pets like zombies, melee skeletons, and flesh colossus as an ult summon.

The six characters I had prior to Necromancer becoming a thing were already more than I needed for anything more than bank space. I’d sooner start playing them more than start another entirely new character.

I more or less have abandoned my necromancer, but when I play on PTS, I often create temporary necromancer characters to try it out again. Basically, I don't see how or why my characters would learn to summon projectile, flaming skulls or grave stones instead more clearly established types of spells.

I like necromancer characters in games in general, but not ESO implementation.

Shooting fireballs with skull skin and summoning tombstones(!), come on...

Probably the supports that buff my team the most.

Necro healer with Sax, SPC, Symph/Ruin with empower, AOE breach, major and minor vuln, minor berserk and minor resolve.
The potential to melt stuff with one of those on the battlefield is sweet.

I got one, but he is relegated to the role of crafter number 5. As for his skills/bars etc, the last time I played him I set him up to be a 2 hander stamina clone (stampede/rally/cleave). Most of the necro skills just seemed all over the place and I was more comfortable just using him that way.

To bad as I would have loved to be able to command even 2 permanent undead pets, even if I had to unsummon them in cities, otherwise he is just another generic character filling up one of my crafter slots.

I have a couple of necros, yes. One of them I play regularly.

Unlike some others I bemoan what they did to necromancers. They should have had "pets" (if you want to call rotting corpses that) and such. They don't really feel as necromancers when they can't summon the undead hordes their NPC counterparts can.

I only have one character and she is my magcro main. Been playing her since I started and I don't think I'll ever make another character.

Switched to Necro when it came out and I have barely played any other character since. Some PvP on my Warden during MYM, but other than that I only log into my other characters during the anniversary event in order to do writs.

With the armory system it is even easier. Sometimes I tank, sometimes I heal, sometimes I dps. Stick with one for a few days or weeks then swap if I want to switch it up.

My only complain about the class is more a complaint about ESO combat in general. I wish all buffs lasted 30+ seconds but preferably a full 60. In PvP I have to juggle 4-5 buff skills, giving me about a 10 second window to actually fight, then you have to start rebuffing again. That doesn't increase the skill threshold, it just increases the annoyance.

i have 2 necromancers

one is a stam necro that is kind of a half tanky/half dps build and he works out really good as is

the other is a mag necro is set up for lot of burst dmg, but ive never really had a "good" build for him because i feel like (as others suggest) the summons are kind of garbage and no way at all considered good pets

blastbones are too janky because you can only have 1 active at a time which messes up rotations, why not just tone down the dmg and allow you to continue summoning them?

the wraith is OK, although the healing ticks are kind of slow at 2 sec, but its good healing, i just kind of wish it had more functionality than a literal heal bot

the other pet is just awful to me, the magicka one just feels incredibly weak (2-4k dmg every 2 sec is horrible dps and probably better from something else), and ive never tried the stamina one because its significantly weaker than blastbones and i only have room or 1 of these "corpse generators" on my stam necro

I have a necromancer in my character list just so I got my money's worth when it comes to having a necromancer. I personally don't play the class as it didn't captivate me in any way.

I found it slow and clunky.

I have two stamina necros and they're strong and really fun to play. I don't actually have a main character any more, so I didn't choose option #1 for that reason.
