Greymoor and Summerest were one of my fav expansions, I personally think Greymoor had one the most intriguing and underrated storylines and setting, Summerest was incredibly gorgeous i spoke about it some time ago in my thread. Blackwood was worst ever just from my personal perspective and Cyrodill nostaliga runs deeply in many and for me its most boring area. Having major dislike for Bretons im proudly skipping it.

I truly miss older ESO. Original, Deadric storylines, Dragons,Vampires it endeed with Greymoor for me, That is all! :) I still have 1000+ quests unfinished though.

P.S. i cannot stand gambling system of crates game has became more and more grind. Companion system is awful too

Well everyone has their own choice. I personally did not bother reading everything in Western Skyrim main quest as well. Since vampires are not my taste. But yes it is my choice and this is yours. For High Isle i can not say much right now but the idea of not dealing with a world ending threat is a good start.

    Western Skyrim was awful.
I did preorder High Isle because it seems more promising than Western Skyrim and Blackwood together.

Western Skyrim had the worst plot. Literally we started playing and all knew ok High King will betray everyone and the daughter which is also a reoccuring thing will be the one who steps up. Old Male Leaders seem to be idiots always.

Blackwood was ok-ish, but High Isle sounds quite promising to me, let's see.

Strangely enough I like all the variations in the overall story that come with different quest-lines and chapters/DLCs are what I save for later. Each one to be done separately while paying attention to the story. I delete all the prologue quests and then selectively choose something fun for the character I'm focused on at the moment.

Nota Bene: Not all stories are epic but most of them are interesting.

As a quester I see each story to be a part of the lore but often local color makes it very enjoyable. I quest quite slowly and have tons of stuff left to do.

Greymoor was horrible. Blackwood was fine and honestly a good improvement overall since the side quests were actually good, unlike in Greymoor where nothing was fun or good until you hit Markarth.

Because Blackwood and High Isle are totally the same area and story. Whatever floats your boat.

I've had fun in all the expansions. I'm an artist so I derive a lot of my enjoyment fromt he eyecandy in the game. Stories could use a [snip] of polish though. I'm personally tired of every game seemingly doing dragons this and dragons that; and everything being about daedra and cultists.

Hopefully High Isle is more about pirates than anything else.

I hate Bretons and Imperial mini mouses. They're irritating me. Roast them for the hist and Superior Aldmeri Dominion! Hear , hear da hist! Hear da hist! I want High elves to rule entire Tamriel with inferior wood elves are servants and Khajiti. I hate Blackwood, I hate High Isle. I am going to log in and play older content. I love my impossibly gorgeous Altmer sorcerer and anything Altmer related. Tis my last post on forums. You mortals do enjoy time with ugly Imperials in Cyrodil, overrated Dagon and Bretons the Boring,.

I think I'm one of those in the minority who thought Greymoor was terrific.

I loved the storyline, the characters, the location... and this continued over into Markarth, which I thought was even better.

    I also love the companions.

I am not a fan of Blackwood, but I'm really looking forward to High Isle and yes, even the card game.

High Isle is looking like an awesome location and Bretons needed a chapter to themselves. I haven’t really heard complaints about the zone location.

People are upset over the major new feature being a card game though.

Sue me, but I liked Greymoor. It certainly had its flaws. The villain reveal was overly obvious, Svana was a bit boring, and the Reach accents were all over the place, but I enjoyed the lore expansion on the Grey Host and I actually liked Rada. Plus I really like the Ravenwatch so spending more time with them was great. Liked seeing Lyris and Sai again, liked Fennorian, liked visiting Blackreach again. Really enjoyed dreamwalking in Verandis' memories and talking to the Exarchs in Greyhome. The epilogue dialogue is probably my favourite moment in the whole game, and the title it comes with is my favourite title.

I preordered High Isle, because I have every intention of playing all available ESO content until the game is either dead or utterly terrible. I like Bretons but they've been done dirty in the franchise IMO, with all of the emphasis being placed on their medieval knight culture and little to none being placed on their Direnni heritage and propensity for magic - name a major Breton mage in ESO who isn't Gabrielle Benele without Googling. I guess we'll see if High Isle does the same. Either way I'm looking forward to getting more Breton lore.

There's things to like (and not like) in every expansion. But the game has been releasing less exciting content since Elsweyr. I couldn't blame someone for sitting out on these last two expansions.

On the other hand, I do hope they are hard at work fixing code issues (and anything else) that will bring about better performance. I want to enjoy Cyrodiil again.

Wow, this is more or less the exact opposite of my opinion. While the writing in general has become very bad in recent years IMO, Greymoor and its story were sort of the ultimate low for me. At least I hope the writing and story will never become even worse. Oh well, I guess we'll see.

I liked the whole "vampire conspiracy" thing, or what it seemed to be. I will be honest , I jus wanted to access some part of Skyrim , for role playing. I didn't complete the whole mission. I did however complete Morrowind and Summerset. Greymoore was like "Skyrim" , and blackwood is a nod to the old Oblivion game, so for the lore books and side quests and things , it's worth exploring.
High Isle is skipping the epic stuff with a more intrigue based plot, so basically they asset flipped stuff from glenumbra and storm haven and tossed it all on a island area the size of Khanerthis Roost. Seriously. High Isles is a small island. Go look.
Anyways, chances are I won't buy the new dlc on day one. Unless there is a huge sale on it.
I still have yet to complete the story of greymoore and haven't even bought blackwood yet lol, so ya, no rush.
I actually deleted the game this morning lol. And so whenever Xcloud gets ESO back up in running is when I will probably log back in. I hate the huge download size for the updates. I have Xbox one s , and it takes forever to load into the game. And Cyrodiil server is bad but having old gen hardware crashes the game cuz the asset bottlenecks and all the castles and holds turn into N64 graphics when the campaigns get normal amounts of players on lol.
So at least with Xcloud I will have access to Series X service.
But ya , High Isle looks to be maybe the content size perhaps of Merkmire? And yes it starts on those islands but maybe there will be more unlockable map areas we haven't seen yet through out the year. Idk

[snip] I'm skipping this as well, a card game? Seriously? I have never heard anyone that wanted a card game.
Sure if they had released a golden saucer ish from ff14 with a whole lot more than a card game it would have been cool. But this is just so underwhelming

I am temporarily suspending any additional purchases until they fix some issues that we're going to have when Account Wide Achievements go live. At a bare minimum, they need to fix the replay value. A brand new character on an existing account will have some very strange and immersion breaking comments made to them by NPCs.

I'm also boycotting for now because of the complete lack of communication about the known issues that are being discussed on the PTS thread related to this issue (just look for the one with about 65K reads). Players that have heavily invested their time into playing alts are being disrepected in a way that many do not even comprehend. The utter lack of empathy and compassion for these folks should give us all pause.
