How do I change my forum username?

I created my account in November 2013 using the account.elderscrollsonline.com portal rather than the forums.----.com portal... I returned a few months ago to activate my beta key and download the client, once again through the account.---- portal... I then came back again via that same portal to purchase and activate the game...

I only just used the forums.elderscrollsonline.com site for the first time recently to ask about an addon, prior to that I had never even been to this portal of the site or made a forum account...

But they are using my personal information for my username here (which I never selected or had a say in) and the edit profile page does not let me manually change my forum name... So I ask, is there anyway for customer support to change my forum username to my actual account username...?

I just sent a mod a message and he changed it a couple of hours later.

Contact support. I had the exact same issue. They responded within minutes and the problem was resolved within a day.

Support can help. I found that you can change your forum name up until the point you make a post then it locks it in. But if it's personal info. contact support and tell them. They take it seriously.

Ok thank you, I used the email option via the support link at the top, is that the right avenue to use for this? Some of you mention messaging a forum moderator, is that the correct/preferred way to do it or will either work?
