Question about Grand Master Crafter and Account-Wide achievements.

The achievements needed for Grand Master Crafter are divided between my characters, half of them are in one and the other half on the other. With the new update, will I get Grand Master Crafter or I still need to get all of them on the same character?

Saieden✭✭✭✭✭Put it this way, you still need to do everything you need to do currently to improve your Master Writ dtopnrate on that character. Just like lore books, skyshards, undaunted, etc., the gameplay benefits are all still character-specific.0 -

Do we, though? Because if Master Writ chance tracks the achievements you have, you really only need to learn motifs on one characters now to reap benefits on all of them.

✭✭Probably not testable on pts, as the number of daily writs you'd need to do for statistically meaningful results is not going to be doable before the patch goes live.4 -

I don't believe so as it would be way too difficult and time consuming to prove, though I think it's pretty safe to assume so as that the precedent set, and intention stated, for every other exception to the account wide changes. It would also devalue master writs and to a large extent voucher purchases significantly, and also potentially drive mat prices up even further.0 -

The answer to both your questions is yes, as I said on my first post.
If you have a character that has a no-Death achievement on a dungeon, and another that has the speed run and a third that has the HM, your account gets the trifecta.
If you killed 20 fire colossi each on 5 different characters, you get that achievement for the account.
For any of the achievements that are cumulative, as soon as you log into a character, their progress towards that achievement is added to the progress. Whichever character pushed the achievement over the max gets their name attached to it.The Moot Councillor4 -

Thinking about this, I figure you can research a different trait on 8 different characters and get the trait achievements in a couple of days.The Moot Councillor0 -

That's subjective. I only wear a title on one character and that's Master Angler.
