We had it back in the day with Hrothgar, Dark Convergence, and to lesser extend Plaguebreak.
We have it now with hybrid healing, and to lesser extend, power bash.
Both things were called out during PTS cycle and it made absolute horrible gameplay for next 3+ months and made players leave.
I'm afraid I will be one of them this time. I don't see a point in going to PvP if players can't be killed.

✭I had some hope for this week's patch notes. I had hope that Zos wouldn't go live with such a disastrous patch for pvp balance without some desperately needed tweaks. I am a fool for having such hope. I'll be taking a break from any and all pvp during this patch while Zos figures out what the absolute [snip] they intend their pvp to be.
