How many think it's "okay" to take Volendrung and give it to enemy players?
So today in the under-level-50 PvP campaign, Volendrung (the Hammer) spawned behind an alliance's gate. A member of that alliance picked up Volendrung, rode across the map, and delivered it to enemy players. He was not a "spy" for the enemy; he did this to amuse himself. He was supported by several other players in zone chat. His reason: He thought he would make more AP if the enemy had the hammer (since his alliance controlled much of the map).
So, should this sort of thing be allowed? Should PvP players be allowed to take actions that sabotage their faction's score for the campaign? If such actions allow them to make more AP?
I guess there's nothing in the terms of service preventing such a thing. But it sure seems like there should be. I seem to recall reading about suspensions several years ago from PvP players in opposite factions who were coordinating to get AP. Anyway, I guess it's allowed: it makes some players titter with delight, and it greatly annoys players who are loyal to their faction and want to have the high score for the campaign.
