Infinite Loading Screen on Login

So as the title states I am having infinite loading screens on the PTS after hitting login on the username/password page. I'm not even getting to character select. I've tried it several times and tried running a repair on the launcher to no avail. anyone else having this issue? Its only on the PTS, Live plays just fine and I was on the PTS yesterday before the patch.

The first loading screen upon entering your password after a patch, on both PTS and Live, is really long, due to the database being re-populated with all of your game info.
It has been like this (intentionally) since (I think, if I'm remembering correctly) early in the Greymoor year (2020; Update 25, I think), after they did some fiddling with the database.
They said at the time that the number of characters you have can make it last longer, so someone with 2 characters won't be waiting as long as someone with 18 characters.

But I have noticed that my initial loading screens were even more excessive after the most recent patch on Live last week, and the PTS patch yesterday. It was almost 15 minutes long yesterday; far longer than it has ever been to-date, which is crazy.

Longer loading screens tend to happen for me post-patch as well and considering the fact that the game (PTS version) is around 88.5 GB in size, it will get longer each major patch.
