Problem is that sometimes if we pass through an area at blazing speed game STILL doesn't recognize we've cleared up everything on our way and prevents access to doors (quite noticeable on Wayrest Sewers and City of Ash I).
Last Saturday I finished a dungeon with a guildmate, don't even remember which one, but we did it so fast that even after the final boss we were stuck in combat unable to even port out, forcing us to Leave Instance / Disband to get out.
You could try invisibility potions to see if that will break you out of combat.
Worth a shot.
At the beginning of Wayrest Sewers 1 there is a crocodile who get agro, yet that mob unable to reach players and usually skiped by them. So when second to last boss, the door will not open for sometime (players start sneaking to avoid it or do some other useless nonsense).Last night in vWR1 I was in combat between the fights

If you use DOTs or HOTs in Cyrodiil, you have likely encountered this problem, which can continue for 15-30 minutes sometimes, long after you have left the original battle and moved elsewhere. The Force Pulse skill for Destruction Staff seems to be one of the culprits to cause this bug if the targeted enemy does not die. Logging off, stepping inside a delve or leaving Cyrodiil entirely are often the only ways to fix this.
