8am EDT is 10pm EST, this was great, now your doing the maintenance at 6am EDT which is 8pm EST. You have made leaps and bounds in fairness to your Oceanic players why change it up now, just keep it at the same time or later thanks.

In this case I think it is a different time because it is for rolling out the patch that didn't work from today. I think it's only this onetime though, still frustrating but at least some bugs will hopefully be solved.0 -
valen741✭✭✭This isn't an on-going change. The maintenance didn't seem to happen for NA last night - perhaps because they had some extra dramas with the EU server where they were unable to drop the patch. Hopefully whatever messed them up last night has been addressed and we'll see more fixes tonight!
I do agree though, shame it's 2hrs earlier tonight. I'm sure the fixes will be worth it!

✭✭What? 8am EDT is 7am EST. It's eastern daylight time vs eastern standard time, where the clocks are set an hour ahead.

Agreed, fixes are good, just not good during our prime time, we're talking about "am" for america, their at work ffs what difference does a couple of hours in the morning make to them.... (Ok, now I'm ranting... ) signs off before it gets out of hand 0.o

✭✭I know they changed it to Thursdays so it wouldn't affect weekends but as far as scheduling what time of day there's always an area that will be inconvenienced. It's an NA server and I'm guessing the majority of players are NA so they're going to schedule around that.0 -
As an Oceanic player I've come to accept that MMO companies will happily take my money and deliver an inferior product, compared to North American players, its just the way it goes. However, is it really too much to ask Zenimax to pick a time and stick to it? Why must maintenance tonight be 2 hours earlier?1 -
valen741✭✭✭I think they're giving themselves some extra time for this seeing as the EU maintenance yesterday failed quite badly.
If this was an ongoing thing I'd be annoyed... This one.. well yes it's a little inconvenient but it should be worth it in the end..0 -

I do not accept it at all, i understand it probably wont change, but i'll move on and play other games where the Maintenance is a little less invasive to my game experience, especially while i'm paying my money to the game.0
