Belharza's Band Crimson Diamond Lead does this thing exist?

Belharza's Band Crimson Diamond

Supposedly this drops in chests inside Falkreath hold inside chests. I've soloed that stupid zone about twenty times in the last week and no drop from any chests. I am picking the locks also. Anyone ever seen this thing? Or is is just bad RNG?

On a fun note. I die a lot less soloing than in groups which is kind of humorous.

Its probably there, maybe just one of those stubborn leads that takes a while.

The one for vDSA took me forever to find, so did the one from that Tree dungeon in Daggerfall.

Took me 30 runs or so to get it, around 60 chests total. Never picked any locks, just forced them all.

How many times will we need to see the jarl die over and over again? How many times do we need to teach that old man a lesson!?
That's insane really, chests are already "rare" in this stupid dungeon (I've had 2 runs with no actual chests, and sometimes only 1, and I've searched every corner).
It makes sense for Blackdrake Villa where it's random mobs, but chests?
This is way more annoying than the one for pale order (but at least that one got fixed)

At the end of the day though, I was able to fill out my stickerbook for Falkreath quite a bit. One way or the other, I was going to be running that dungeon a ton to get all the sets collected.

each dungeon has two chests. If you didn’t find them, then don't know where to look. I've done 50 runs and know all the places where chests can be. One on the first boss, about 11 after the gate before the third boss, 2-3 in the crypt before the fourth, one before the last boss.

i went solo -Bastian was tanking and after i killed mammoth boss it dropped in a chest next area,took me 2-3 attempts
Stainless Imperial band was harder for me,solo till 2nd boss and finally dropped after 10-12 times

I've been helping some people farm it the last few days. One of them did get it today.

I've gotten the run down pretty good though. Other than the bosses I just pop my dmg shield over and over and just run around looking for the chests while the mobs attack me. Then I just die at the boss, solo the boss and move to the next area and skip the last boss. At first I was clearing it all which took forever. Still no luck last night though sigh.

Most of the people I see complaining, and many of the people who post in chat they are looking for the lead - just run through and cry later that they couldn’t find any chests. It was this same mentality for people looking for that Shadowfen lead, instead of just going across the southern river for ~20 nodes that no one else is farming and that perfectly respawn every rotation.

I didn’t want to re-write the entire thing - but I listed a bunch of chest locations in the below post.

its a horrible grind but it exists. I got mine around two weeks ago and now I dont want to see that dungeon again for a long time.

Shawn thanks for posting the link It was helpful. Sometimes I run that and only find one chest there were a few spots on that link I've not noticed!

I'll be glad when this lead is complete, this is the most annoying lead as you really have to solo unless you are running with someone else looking for it also.

BTW if you are in a group, after finishing the last boss, you can go back to the zone before you jump down the ramp to the draugr boss.
After leaving the final boss hut, on the right side of the stone stairs you can jump over the rocks and will land next to the skeleton boss. Then you can check the map for missed chests. At least until the timer runs out.
