I see a decline in population on PC EU or maybe I am just playing those times when the population is low.
I've never experienced the game so unresponsive as it is now since I started playing.... animations don't show, skills won't fire, weapon swap won't work.
Do you see any bright future for PVP the next year or is this the last nail in the coffin?

We don't care if it is laggy, but we do care we can't get the sky shards or delves etc.
Besides it seem to me that it is a LARGE waste of space that can be utilized better elsewhere.
Sorry if I offend any of the pure PvP crowd here, but when all you hear is complains about the shape of PvP in the game maybe it is time to just give up and go play something else that scratches that itch and let us PvErs have more areas to explore.

I mean, before the upcoming patch was the time to play. Barely any people and just a few hours of primetime even on the weekend.
I actually did some skyshards on my pve toons without even changing their gear.

Between ultra low pop caps and a handful of players on opposing factions working together to control the map by essentially just trolling the people trying to play the game "normally", cyrodiil has become toxic, and is becoming more and more toxic as performance continues to decline and the only people sticking around for it are the trolls who live for toxicity.

well if the main point is that the servers are basically empty then what is exactly stopping you from "exploring" Cyrodiil...?

Basically empty != empty...
And in a post below that one I did say that if there are only two players in cyrodiil (one being an enemy) I would find myself ganked. Becoming fodder to even one enemy player is still to much a risk for me, sorry. Either it becomes full PvE or I never go there.

@mb10
I wouldn't bother trying to explain things. They don't want answers. Once PvP is finally dead they can see what we experience when PvE content gets its corners cut and content becomes neglected.

Wait ✋
You honestly think PvE gets back burner for PvP in ESO? I've never heard of that before. Can you sight examples please?

Yeah, exactly!
“I don’t PvP, because I’m scared of my character getting killed, but I know all about PvP and Cyrodiil”
EDIT:
Maybe I should add that I am using sarcasm here just to be clear

You both might be misinterpreting my post so sorry about that. I was meaning the person I mentioned shouldn't waste time trying to explain that since Cyrodiil is dead it's the best time to get skyshards. Most of the PvE people who want PvE Cyrodiil don't want to listen to reason, they just want everything with no compromise.
After that I was making a comment that once they get their wish and PvP is dead then they can feel what we PvPers feel watching the content you love get neglected. Because after PvP is dead then next it will be the end game trial community doesn't make enough money to justify supporting the vet content etc.
The only true endgame will be crown crates.
