Does this apply to heavy attacks? I know for many sets/bonuses there is a clear delineation between "ability" and "heavy attack".
Has anyone tested this or know definitively?

✭Afaik restoration and lightning staff heavy attacks count as channels. All other weapons count as cast times I think. My testing was using the Mother Ciannait set.Athan Atticus Imperial Templar of Shezarr1 -

More like 9% damage reduction, due to diminishing return of cummulated bonuses
