✭✭✭✭✭A graphics program - I *think* Windows still comes with Paint or something, but since I used to design and manage websites for clients, years back I bought Paint Shop Pro (I certainly didn't need anything as expensive as Adobe provides!)
You can get a free option by downloading The Gimp.1
