how do I resize an image to post?

I use the housing forums get the url and post here, but wish the pics were smaller sometimes, is there a way????

    A graphics program - I *think* Windows still comes with Paint or something, but since I used to design and manage websites for clients, years back I bought Paint Shop Pro (I certainly didn't need anything as expensive as Adobe provides!)

    You can get a free option by downloading The Gimp.

    Paint.net is an ok free program that can downscale images.

    Huh. Haven't run across that one. Probably because my PSP 6 and 8 work just fine for anything I need to do any more - regardless they're (like everything else on my computer) anciently antique by now.

    try taking the resolution down to about 32 or 42, that will automatically reduce the size and still show well on the web.
