Haven't bought any of the assistants, they don't seem worth it or needed.

I also haven't used Armory, yet.

As a console player we don't have the option of addons etc, so the armory and assistant has been a breath of fresh air.

Yes, got it on ps4. Guildy happened to be selling crowns.

Use it a lot, especially on my tank. When I'm set up to tank properly I can't do anything else- can't kill anything, can barely run.

With the assistant if I forget to gear up before queue pops its 2 seconds at the start of the dungeon to pull him out and switch builds. And after I've done my dungeons he comes straight back out so I can get off the tank build and actually sprint again.

There are also a lot of times I'll switch something on a build- food, potions, a skill, an emote, etc. You really want the assistant so you can save that stuff on the fly without traveling to a house. Otherwise you just forget and end up having to do it over again.

Yes, because i find him useful even with 2 slots and i hate housing in eso so much that even something like porting to my inn room is unnecessary annoyance.

No, it's WAY too expensive considering it's barely useful. I'd buy it if it was the same price as a house guest, because that's all I'd use him for.

Really handy to be able to swap from a healer build to a DPS build in groupfinder. I typically queue as a healer on my NB, but if the group gives me the nod, I swap to full damage, which requires changing skill morphs. Half the people in GF are wearing RotPO anyways.

I also really like to be able to swap to crafting build for writs or if I need to make potions or glyphs, even when not on my crafter. Pretty much all my toons have the second armory slot as full crafting on all the skills, and nothing else. Naked crafting for the win.

Funny, my house has the station. I didn't have enough room to add the assistant. The various housing caps on different types of items are beyond stupid.

I put the free armory thingy in one of my houses, where it’s gathering dust. Not spending money on an assistant I’ll never use.

If ZOS had priced the extra slots reasonably, I might have have been interested, but, as with the outfit station, no way I’m spending 1500 crowns for an extra slot on only a single character.

I might eventually but it's not high priority. I have an addon that provides the functionality, Iakoni's Gear Changer I think it's called off top of my head. I like the orc guy so may eventually get him in a sale but money is tight right now.

no & i don't plan to unless ZOS implements some changes.

with 2 slots, i keep one as an easy reset slot with all the basic skill points and CP i use in every single build and character; and the other slot i keep as a random normals build.

if armory slots purchased were account-wide, i'd probably grab three of those, and the assistant as well, as that would enable me to use the armory as it was imagined- to switch between builds on the fly.
oh, and if the armory saved mundus as well.

Pretty much this. The prices really ruin the whole concept, similar to outfit slots. Sadly, because it's quite nice to be able to switch e.g. from vamp to WW without the hassle.
Like you said, if they'd be account wide I'd give it a go. Or if they were reasonably priced. But if it remains like this, it is a big no.

I used the free table thing to save vampirism before curing it on my tank and haven't touched it since. If I had a heap of spare crowns and the armoury assistant was on sale, I'd consider buying it just in case they improve it in future.

The armoury slots are too expensive to be viable. 15 euros a slot. Not even worth investigating.

I have used the Armory station so I can swap between a PvE build and a PvP build where I may want different morphs and/or Champion Points. I use the same add-on I was using before to change between different PvE builds when I am set up for PvE - which I do mostly. I also have alts for different playstyles and roles. I see no use for the Armory Assistant and it would have to be significantly cheaper and unlocked across the whole account for me to consider doing so. As it stands it is ridiculously overpriced.

I'll purchase it eventually, but since the assistants are convenience items I wait until they're on sale to buy them, and until then I find ways to get by without them. Anyway, I still haven't used the Armory to save my current builds and make alternate ones, so I don't really have any need for the assistant right now.

Addendum -- I do think the Armory and Armory Assistant are great additions to the game. And I buy and spend a lot of Crowns every year, so it's not like I have anything against the Crown Store or supporting ZOS throughout the year.

Nope, maybe if it was half the price, but 5000 crowns is way too much for what little it does.

Unlike banker/merchant, who are useful for any character and any playstyle (except PVP, RIP) this guy is too niche IMO. Out of my 30 characters I'd probably only use him on maybe 3.

Edit: As others have said, I'd also consider it more if the slots were more reasonably priced, but they cost as much as a small DLC, or a standard mount, both things which are account wide and provides more fun.

    @LashanW
Not true. I summon in Dungeons all the time, even mid run. You just need to get out of combat. In Trials, I use dressing room addon if I am going as far to swap gear between pulls. In arenas and Cryo, I usually walk in prepared, so dont really need it there.

I think this things highest and best use is to be able to queue properly as a support role for a fast queue, but if your group is okay with it, swap to full damage at a click of a button. Because healing often requires different skill morphs (especially on a NB), it works really well.

I think it is also very useful if you want to have your alts be able to do writs at the click of a button.

Lastly, if nothing else, you can keep one slot blank, and use it as a free reset for skills attributes and CP. Dont really need assistant for that, but its nice. I use the assistant far more than I thought I would.

I purchased the armory assistant when it first released and then uninstalled all related addons. The addons were nice, but with the assistant I can swap champion points, attributes, morphs and curses all on the go. Now I can easily swap from pure tank to dps in the middle of a dungeon or whenever I want.

Also it's fun as heck transforming into a vampire scion during one dungeon boss fight and then into a werewolf on the next boss fight.

I won't be buying any additional build slots though - not account-wide and too expensive.

Oh interesting.. Very interesting mate. Didn't think of this.
Could have my alts switch between combat ready role, and maxed out writ machine at the click of a button.

No longer need to gather a gazilion skill points on my alts for combat AND crafted skills.

Each character can have their core combat role and when not being played be crafter with

    - Max hirelings
    - Max decon materials
    - Max crafting skills for better writ rewards and master writs

And if you need to play a dungeon on an alt you switch to combat and then right back again to a Gold machine.

That is powerful mate.. why didnt i Think of that xD

If it let me set the Mundus stone I would think about it. As for Armory slots I would buy some if they were account wide.

As it is I need to visit the guild house to change the Mundus stone so I just use the armory table there at the same time rather than going to one of my houses.
