[NA][PC][PvX/RP][EP] Come to The Remnants of Hope for Community, Events, and Friends!

Been a bit since have posted an update here!

We've been busy in RoH with so many things, including lots of adventures in Tamriel!

In addition our community saw New World and Final Fantasy added as divisions, bringing the total in game guilds of RoH to 6 (ESO, GW2, FF XIV, New World, SWTOR and WoW).

In our division, our Division Commander Pwiddy stepped down after almost six months of service.

(In RoH, we have elections and rotations of guild leaders to prevent burnout and bring in new perspectives; an incumbant DC may choose to run again.)

We celebrated his long service and welcomed the new Division Commander (msteiner12) with a change of command ceremony led by our High Elder Tyreteaus (leader of entire community).

Afterwards, the members join in on some celebration!

Not at all!!! Many of our members are not EP - it only affects our Cyrodiil and Imperial City Events. We do a lot of other social, pve events beyond pvp

Hope everyone is getting spooky! with the Witch's Festival

In RoH lots are grouping up to grab all the plunder skulls together. But we took time out for our regular Tier 2 Trial by Fire Night, which this week was Vet Hel Ra Citadel.

It was a lot of fun, and first time clears for several in the group. It's great when those who have not experienced vet content before in ESO get to do so with friends, in a group where everyone is willing to help and grow together.

Remnants of Hope members have been running impromptu events together to net the gold daily dremora skulls plus heaps of plunder skulls!

This is in addition to our regular scheduled events; of which many have spotlighted the Witch's Festival!

For example, Mondays are our Dungeon Mayhem night. This past Monday, the PvE team had a special event for us.

Teams of 4 were formed. Participants stripped all gear except for helmet/hat and ONE weapon. One could equip only gear found in the two dungeons.

Spindleclutch 1 and Cyrpt of Hearts 1 were the contest dungeons (suitably spooky). Teams raced each other through the dungeons while doing scavenger hunts! Searching for clues such as screenshots of Whisperer Song verses, why did Faulor not go mad? How many sittable chairs in CoH (this prompted much debate lol!) etc.

Here one can see MelloTheBard's joy in his fancy red boots picked up out of chest in Spindleclutch.

The teams gathered after the event for the awarding of awesome prizes and to show off their exquisite (not) fashion from the random bits of armor picked up here and there

Last week saw several events themed around the Witch's Festival. As a PvX social guild, we had PvE events like mentioned above, PvP in costume, a costume contest (screenies from that later) and a special RP event. The RP Officer/GM incorporated the popular, devious game "Werewolf" into a fun, ingame session held a guild member's home, Hunter's Glade. Almost 20 people showed up to play!!!

We finished off our week of Witch's Festival themed events with a Spooky Costume Contest!!

Spectators and judges alike enjoyed the parade of contestants! Almost all got into the spirit with their own halloween themed outfits!

We were on the edge of seats (or daedric benches!) as the judges considered the entries. Further adding to the spooky atmosphere was the exquisitely decorated home for the contest!

It was a difficult choice for the three judges, as one can see from the 5 winners!

Afterwards, everyone gathered together for one last screenie!

So many exciting events always happening every week. Here is our current weekly schedule!

All times are listed in EST/EDT.

Monday

9:00 PM: Monday Night Mayhem (Dungeons) (PvE Dept) -- Join fellow remnants as we dominate dungeons! Everyone level 10+ is welcome and we have a wonderful PvE team and community that will help you get oriented to dungeons if they're still new to you!

Tuesday

8:00 PM: Social Hour! (Fashion Craft Dept)-- Come join the fashion crafting department for our awesome social hour event! We hang out while either gathering, fishing, or any other great social activities that we can think up while encouraging a social atmosphere.

9:00 PM: RP Night -- (RP Dept) All are welcome to join us for RP Night! No previous role-play experience or skill necessary. Follow along with this wonderful story brought to us by the Roleplay department! Stop by the RP section of our forums to create your character sheet, so you can take part in the action, or feel free to simply stop by and observe. It's a wonderful experience, and lots of fun!

Wednesday

9:00 PM: Trial By Fire (Tier 3) (PvE Dept) -- Trials are the raiding content of ESO, and Tier 3 is where we try and tackle the harder stuff; the Veteran mode of Trials and this event is for people who are not frustrated by extra mechanics and death. Sign ups are a first come first served basis provided you meet requirements. When we all work together for a victory, it's a great feeling (with lots of loot, too!) If you're interested, please sign up when the next Trial By Fire is posted

Thursday

9:00 PM: PvP Cyrodiil Siege (PvP Dept) -- This is the main faction war that takes place in ESO's largest zone, Cyrodiil. Here we lay siege to our opponents keeps, capture resources and lay waste to the blueberries (Daggerfall Covenant, since they are blue) and bananas (Aldmeri Dominion, since they are yellow)! We offer this event on Thursdays from 9-11pm Eastern. Requirements include: Level 10+, Ebonheart Pact. Currently we play in the Blackreach (CP) Campaign.

Friday

8:00 PM: Triple D (Dungeons, Dolmens, and Delves) (PvE Dept) -- We all group up, pick a region, and take on overland events, world bosses, public dungeons, and delves. The goal is to level characters, work on completing maps, and have fun with friends! Many of our members say this is their favorite event of the week. Stop by and join in the shenanigans as we jump off cliffs and cluck like chickens when we level!

10:00 PM: Trial By Fire (Tier 2) (PvE Dept) -- Trials are the raiding content of ESO, and are led by our amazing PvE department. Tier 2, as you might imagine, is our mid-level difficulty. It encompasses the harder normal Trials and the easier veteran Trials. For people who just want a little more challenge then what is offered in Tier 1 and is an excellent way to pick up gear and experience. If you're interested, please sign up when the next Trial By Fire is posted, as it's a first come - first serve basis provided you meet requirements.

Saturday

2:00 PM: Skill Point Run - (PvE Dept) Join us through Tamriel knocking out public dungeon group events (gives skill point), slurping up skyshards (3 each gives skill point) and other fun!

8:00 PM: Expedition Endeavor (Fashion Craft Dept) -- Come join us each week as we complete the various activities needed to get Seals of Endeavor to spend on shiny new housing and fashion items. Every week will be different, from running dungeons to completing quests in Cyrodiil and everything in between! The first Saturday of every month this event is replaced by our Fashion Show, where we strut our stuff down the catwalk for a chance to win special prizes, such as crafting motifs, furniture, gold, and more.

9:00 PM: Strike Team (PvP Dept) -- Like Cyrodiil Siege, with an emphasis on coordination and advanced play. It is recommended that you check out the expectations for this event here. We offer this event on Saturdays from 9-11pm Eastern/6 - 9pm Pacific Time. Requirements include: Level 160+CP, Ebonheart Pact. Currently we play in the Blackreach (CP) Campaign.

10:30 PM: Wild Card RP (RP Dept) -- Want to join in on some casual RP, or need some help with your character? Join the Roleplay department at our Wild Card RP event to get your feet wet while exploring the world of RP. Or just stop by and unwind as you interact with other characters, while building on your existing story.

Sunday

4:00 PM: PvE Training (Pve Dept) - Specific PvE role class to go over basics/responsibilities/tactics to each role. For example one week may cover tanking: The idea is for those getting into trials and other PvE aspects to have a understanding of what their role is suppose to do. Higher-tier classes later on to assist those in the T2/3 range will come later

7:00 PM Trial by Fire (Tier 1) (PvE Dept)-- This is another night of Trials. Tier 1 is a great place for newer players or for people who want to try new roles and builds. Questions are encouraged and we will provide explanations of mechanics as well as some basic strategies. So please feel free to jump in, see the content and get the gear. New players are often shocked by how well it goes so we encourage you, if you want, sign up (160 CP+) and see for yourself!

9:00 PM: Imperial City (PvP Dept) -- Sundays from 9 - 11pm Eastern Time we explore the heart of Cyrodiil, Imperial City. This includes capturing flags on the streets and also conquering foes down below in the sewers. This event incorporates both PvE and PvP elements. Requirements include: Level 10+, Ebonheart Pact and Imperial City DLC (Available for FREE from the Crown Store) or ESO+. Currently we play in the CP Campaign.

One of the great things we have in RoH is a plethora of events for each play style. Including trials, normal and vet - we have Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 trials as detailed above.

Everyone should have a chance to delve into these interesting, fun, 12 person instanced raids with a friendly supportive group. Plus the lore and story behind the trials are top notch.

Our Intro to trials leader is doing something really amazing on Sundays. They take the time for everyone to experience the story behind the trial and focus on lore and the amazing design. Those who wish to do some light RP are not discouraged. Those who are there to just kill and loot are also welcome.
