How do people feel about outfit being saved as part of a build? I imagine they could remove outfit and replace it with one or both of your suggestions to minimize the UI changes that would be needed.
That should be added also.
There are already addons for PC that will change your outfit/costume etc. based on the selected armory slot.
Seems adding more would be the way to go not taking away.

Do you know why the mundus is not changed? Because the demand for mundus stones bought into our homes would drop. Not gonna happen.

Actually, from what I remember from their stream and discussions on the PTS forums, they want to add Mundus but ran into technical issues and couldn't get it done for Update 32.

This is the first I've heard of this actually, it would be really nice if you could find a source for that
I'm really of the opinion the Mundus Stone boost is not intentional. It couldn't be done for whatever reason by release.
Obviously I don't have sales numbers but of the folks I know on PCNA, very few of them have Mundus Stone furnishings for personal use.
Houses devoted to being 'guildhalls' tend to be the only ones that collect Mundus Stones, to the point it's basically an expectation for any moderate sized guild to have at least the common ones.
To my knowledge the Mundus Stones haven't been 'featured' or put on sale in the last three years at least, and the majority of players wouldn't be able to find them for purchase at the in-house buy-furniture screen as opposed to the normal Crown Store.
EDIT: If next week I see "Mundus Stones 20% off for ESO+ Subscribers 3 days only" in the store ... then I'll change my mind.

It might be something different, but CP config is saved for each build out. On the empty build out, try assigning just a few CP and then saving the build. Then switch to build two to see if all CP assigned, then back to one to see if it kept the ones you just set up.

My biggest problem with it at this point is that it requires you to carry gear in your inventory instead of being able to draw it from your bank. Not gonna carry extra sets of gear around.

I was trying to find it on one of their streams. It's not in the announcement stream where they first showcased it, so I'll have to see if I can find it elsewhere.
In the feedback thread for the Armory on the PTS forums there's someone mentioning that the fact the game sees the Mundus Stone as a buff rather than a piece of equipment is part of the issue, but that's all I've been able to find so far.

It was in the ESO live event where they answered players questions, where they mentioned it wouldn't fit in update 32 https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1164620475?t=01h21m32s

I don't understand what you mean. I save build1 if any changes were made, equip build2, sometimes saving build 2 if I make changes, equip build1, and sometimes the cp are gone in build 1. I had to install a cp-saving addon to reassign my build1 cp points. This has happened multiple times.

CP for each build is saved completely independent of the other. They are not synchronized. At least, that's how it works on PC platform.
