I've recently finished dealing with Daddy Dagon, and - as usual - ZOS did a fine job. A fine job indeed. However, as creative as they are (even in nerfing some of the stuff) what would you like ZOS to focus their attention on INSTEAD of a new Chapter THE MOST?

✭✭✭✭✭I mean, Morrowind, Summerset, Elsweyr, and Greymoor have already shown that they can do:
Chapter + New Class
Chapter + New Skill Line
And they've already taken proc sets from Cyrodiil as part of their tests. It didn't really impact the lag and it was only popular with a segment of the player base, so there's a no proc, no CP option now if you want it.
It's not like this is an Either/Or/Instead Of situation.22 -

They have been admittedly (file size on Xbox went from 90GBs to 87GBs when Deadlands dropped) but performance is still a mess. Instead of adding new content just focus on fixing bugs, working on performance, tweak things that aren't working. Heck they could even fix Cyrodiil finally. A year break would give the writers time to breathe and to make a banger story. It would give the world designers more time to make the next zones even better.
They have been working constantly for years. I think the devs need a well deserved break from the cycle so they can make 2023 an amazing year instead of an ok year like this year.8 -

The problem isn't isolated to Cyrodiil anymore. It is creeping into all aspects of the game at a steady pace. Although improving Cyrodiil performance and allowing more players (so many would actually return as well) to participate in a campaign again would be amazing.8 -

Maybe not in some weird long grind but in a practical way similar to how motifs work mixed with crafting.
Just in the vain of offering realistic choices and moving away from a META of any kind.

A hand to hand or a claw based combat, just look at BDV last boss, his flaming single hand sword would be insanely cool as a skill, like casting summons a sword and instead a spammable appears as an example.

Make it a little tougher on PVE --
get killed by a Lich - lose xp.
- Require new weapons to kill them like Exotics (remember Ultima 3????)
- Have to find the resources, forge them, skill them, use them for each Lich).
- Special Shards to be found
- Exotics only good for this chapter (or maybe later?)

Kessra✭✭✭other (what)Performance optimzation and quality of life improvements are much more appreciated than just a zone which storyline is played in a day and just keeps people busy by hiding stuff behind daily quests that may or may not drop items/motifs.
IMO we can talk about new classes or zones when ZOS fixed most of the server performance issues, added a collection system for housing, recipies and motifes and anything else that is collectable, UI improvements for consoles that they more or less can have the same basic addons most PC users have installed (skyshards, lore books, public dungeon bosses, combat metrics, automatic writ crafting, ...) and so forth.
There is actually a reason why ZOS did not introduce further classes and abilities recently and this more or less has something to do with the limited memory available on older consoles according to Matt Firor, game director of ESO at ZOS.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭other (what)I would really want to see "One Tamriel 2.0" I think it was the best update the game has ever received. Tons of overhauls & bug fixes. But at this point, I think that game has gotten so large that it would require pretty much like 70 - 90% of the game code to be re-written to remove the "spaghetti" code.3
