Leyawin's ok but Vivec City is still the best crafting/ banking hub in the game.
If you don't like crowds try Stormhold in Shadowfen, it's good too.

Nah the best place to do writs is Western Skyrim. Everything is close by and you don't have to run around. Ever since the Western Skyrim release, i haven't looked at any other place for doing writs.
What about having an banker? Yes I get it if you don't have ESO+, then Rawl is much weaker than Vivec especially the enchanting one who you pick up up close to the enchanting station.Leyawin's ok but Vivec City is still the best crafting/ banking hub in the game.

I use a mobile banker, which makes the main advantage of Vivec CIty a moot point for my alts, the design in Leyawiin is also more to my liking than VC.
Also, Alinor an Rawl'ka are also both nice when it comes to writs. Again, assuming you have the mobile banker.Nah the best place to do writs is Western Skyrim. It's great if you like loading screens and want an inefficient city to complete the writs in. I like that city for it's looks, but it's horrible for daily writs.
I like Leyawin and Summerset for crafting. Why do people love Vivec City so? Its a zoo and everything is spread out.
Fargrave is an odd sort of place but I haven't had too much time in there yet because of the Event.

On the other hand, Velyn Harbor starts out hostile and must be freed before you can use it as a daily crafting hub.
4? more like two but then again on my SSD i never cared for loading screens.
Minor DLC zones don't have crafting dailies. That's been a thing since... Murkmire? Or was it Clockwork City? I don't remember.
