Instances with invisible "npcs" or Monsters

This patch is fubar'd - twice this evening the bank (kenerithis(sp) roost) has had the banker missing. Not just slow to respond - missing (hung around for about 5 minutes) and they didn't show; the other standard NPCS were also missing from that instance. Worse I have gotten killed by invisible monsters on the AD starter isle twice. Other NPCs are not showing up; sometime the collision is there but I can't "E" them.

I'm having the exact same issue, Reloading UI seems to load all visible npc's in a certain radius, but beyod that, they're just invisible again.

Had this happen repeatedly when I was playing earlier. Did a quest where I had to fight 3 waves of 2-3 enemies, and for each wave I had to reload the UI for them to appear to me. Specifically this was the quest in Vulkhel Guard on Auridon where you must stop the plot to assassinate the Queen. Caused my death one of the times when I didn't get it reloaded fast enough.

Beyond that, I was having to reload every couple minutes to get anyone to appear for me when I'd go somewhere in the town (seemed to be a proximity based thing as already stated). Like anything outside of your view distance just refused to load on its own.

It seems that completely uninstalling and reinstalling the game client solved the issue for me. I'd recommend that you guys try the same. I'll update here if I end up having this issue again.

I had this problem as well. It seems to have fixed for me when i updated my graphics drivers to the newest version (it was 1 or 2 versions behind). Ever since then the problems have stopped.
I have sent in a bug report and a support ticket though, just in case i missed something or in case it comes back.

Same problem here, have a great PC that should have no problem running the game on high. Constantly have to wait long periods of time for NPCs and mobs. Makes the game almost unplayable. ATI HD7970 is my video card.

Updating my graphics card to the latest drivers did nothing for me.

I am currently having this issue in Daggerfall after starting out. Horses seem to slide along the ground with no riders, and npcs are not appearing. their noises and voices are there though. I cannot interact with the visible voices either.

I am having this problem as well. NPCs and enemies invisible. Enemies can still kill you though, and collision with NPCs still possible.

I also need to report this problem. Objects and npcs are either not reloading or loading very slowly. This also creates /stuck issues by ending up behind stairs and under floors because I entered the area before they loaded. This was working fine last week but not now.

Same problem with npc, players and even my pet`s. NVIDIA card so i guess is not a problem with it since ATI does the same thing.
Official answer about this will be great.

It seems after today's non-patch I have the same issue. Trying to explore the Vile Manse public dungeon in Reaper's March, but after the start all enemies seem to be invisible. I sneak around in a seemingly empty dungeon, then all of a sudden something invisible detects me, I hear combat sounds from NPCs and all of a sudden I am dead.

It happened to me two or three times. You need to relog in the game, /reloadui won't work..

Something similar happened to me with mages guild quest, Valaste wasn't anywhere. When I reported it as a bug, she rose slightly out of the ground and I could continue.

It seems sometimes NPCs fall through the ground, and of course they don't die, unlike when it happens to Players, so until you report it as a bug, nothing happens.

Several of the missions the people are gone and I constantly every now and then have enemies that attack me that just r not there....This is ridiculous that is a first on a mmo that i ever ran into invisible god like enemies
