nope. 80 ultimate cost for a mediocre dmg , i would rather choose the 170 ultimates that deals thrice the dmg and twice the range
  • nlw140589b16_ESO
It does not do mediocre damage. It scales with spell power and can crit per tick for around 400 and either make you invisible or heal you for damage done. You have now proven you have not got a clue about what your talking about. Damn pryda has his critting for over 600.

This is just silly, how some people are still trying to defend ultimate reduction stacking or blaming some class skills, whether it's templar,DK or sorc ( whichever they don't themselves play ). Anybody with even half a brain cell can understand that it shouldn't be possible to spam ultimates non-stop. How about a cool off timer for all the ultimates ( regardless of class or race or whatever ), like 10 sec after it finishes? Everybody can keep their stacked ultimate reduction, but for 10 seconds they'd have to do normal combat before they could enter god-mode again. Then we could see how good these l33t pvp experts really are, who always tell others to l2p, when they too actually have to do some fighting between ultimates. I bet I wouldn't see any emperors / former emperors attacking zergs alone anymore.

like ive said previously, reducing ultimate stacking will make vamp ult entirely useless. It will not balance anything. The reason why Vamp's ult can be spammed is because it's damage output compared to other ults is lesser. Pulsar skill can even sometimes outdamage vamp's ult.

The reason why it is overpowered is because they exploit mistform's bug. You shouldnt receive any healing while your in mistform but currently, you can receive life leech from vamp's ult while being in mist.

    To make it simple,

if ZoS fixes Mistform, NO VAMPS will be able to SPAM ULT IN THE MIDDLE OF A ZERG because they would drop so fast by not having the ability to heal themselves
Uhm, maybe I understood you wrong, but if ultimate does not keep you in 100% health in the middle of the enemy army, costs practically nothing, and if it "only" makes same damage as pulsar in area of effect it's useless? Damn, it seems all my sorcerer ultimates are then bugged.

Yep, from me atleast im using vr3 armor + vr3 weapons all blue quality since i am very poor, my devouring swarm deals around 400-500dmg per tick and heals me the same, my pulsar also deals almost the same amount 400-500 dmg per cast and has a dot. the only difference is that with pulsar i deal dmg every 1.5 sec (im a slow button masher) wherein in devouring swarm it is per second.

Damage wise it is almost the same as pulsar , the only difference is that it has the ability to heal. but then again, if mistform gets fixed, the ability to heal will be removed

I suppose you missed my video then.
    Watch last page again.
    From 5:30.

He was able to fight off 10 players all by himself despite the players spreading out and him not using Mist Form.
But he sure as hell spammed the crap out of Devouring Swarm.
Note that he was fighting veteran rank players aswell.

I suppose those players should just learn to play then, nothing overpowered with an ultimate that you can activate so you can have close to 100% upkeep on it.

Mist Form is an added luxury, it does not fix the issues with a DK vampire rushing in a zerg and killing over half of the raid.

So first I was not sure what to think about TESO. I really like the fantasy setting but this game seems to have a population of Vampires and Werewolves by 50 - 70% .... That makes it to Elder Scrolls Freakshow... and sorry in my opinion thats quite stupid. Furthermore there a many bugs/unbalances in the game and when I see the leaderboard in PvP it becomes absolutely clear that you cannot come under the Top 50 without using this issues for your own advantage. I was and i will never be joining that easymode but to see the leaderboards where some people making 200k at one day by using this bug and making advertising in the chatchannel for selling the right akaviri set to use this bug....let me think about leaving after checking out Black Desert Online. ....Atm the leaderboard shows nothing only that not all but many of these players are bugusers...and this will not be easy to fix.
And to the topic opener ... Is there anything in which I want educated from you....certainly not

No offence, but I think you have some serious problems understanding what is balanced and what is not. Imagine the outrage if sorcerer overload would heal as much as it makes damage, and would generate ultimate faster than uses it. And still it's only in front of you, not 360 degrees. So please stop making excuses about broken mechanics.

Edit: Forgot to quote blackwolf7's post

Because you guys dont read skill descriptions properly I will clear things for you.

Since 90% of you do not know what they are talking about and do not know how to be effective in pvp, i am also assuming that most of you are bandwagoners who want to cry nerf even though you have no clue what is really going on.

The Ultimate cost reduction is not the main problem why vampires are OP! The Ultimate bat swarm is also not the problem why vampire is op! The reason why they are op is because of the mistform bug.

Mistform, according to tooltip, states that while in mistform, vampires should not receive any sorts of healing. But at the moment, if someone casted rapid regen + mutagen on you and youre in mistform, you will still get healed. Also if you cast bat swarm and casted mistform, you will still be able to life leech. THIS IS WHAT MAKE VAMPS OVERPOWERED AND IMMORTAL.

So instead of throwing tantrums about ult and cost reduction, shout at zos in fixing mistform bug.

If vamps run on the middle of the zerg with mistform on, regardless if they spam bat swarm or not, they will 100% drop fast because they will have no ability to heal themselves. If instead they decided to spam bat swarm and not mistform, the 50% dmg from fire attacks will drop them faster than they can heal themselves with devouring swarm.

    TL:DR

MISTFORM needs to get fixed ASAP to avoid talentless people crying vamps are op even though they dont take the time to actually learn how to counter them properly. It is the main cause why vamps are unkillable.

Not because they can spam ult, not because they have reduce resource reduction but because they can still heal even though they have 75% dmg reduction

your such a good teacher.... *sarcasm*

After announcing Vampire nerf I would also like to know how they intended to fix the Pvp leaderboard and the earned rewards these players gained.

So, you're saying that a vamp tanking a raid of 100+ while never going into mist form is perfectly ok?
