I dont want to have to grind out another class, really dont have the time and the way ZOS just changes each class all the time why not give us change tokens. That way when you brake my class and wont fix it I can just change to the one you turned in to god mode. then when you brake that one I can just change into the next class you buff.
Choices matter. Until they don't. Back in my day, I chose to be a dunmer templar tank. I got laughed at and no one would take me into end game raiding. "You have to be a DK," I was told, "You need chains," "this content is impossible without chains" (it wasn't). Then I made a DK because that was the direction of the game I wanted to go in. Then years went by and... all classes can do almost the same things. Groups are taking in Sorcerer tanks, Templar, Nightblade, etc.Franchise408 wrote: »No, thank you.
There is already a class change token, it's called "Create A Character", which is essentially what would happen with a class change token anyways because you would have to level all of the skill lines from scratch anyways.
Choices matter. It's bad enough there are already race change, name change, appearance change, and alliance change tokens. If you can just change everything about your character on the fly, then 0 choices in the game actually matter.

Choices now are a lot less relevant than they used to be and are largely only a factor with people who want to chase meta. If I could choose to go back to being a templar tank, I would. That character is still there, it used to be my main. I spent time and money on it already in the form of race and name change tokens. But it's not my main. Not anymore. I have more achievements and crafting knowledge on my DK now than on my templar. My DK is now my main.
That choice was already made for me because of how ZOS originally designed the game 6+ years ago. If given the choice, I would swap my DK to Templar and my Templar to DK. Along with a name change token for both so they'd still be aptly-named.
Also, saying 'it's already an option, it's called "Create a Character."' I already have 18 fully levelled characters. You want me to delete one of those choices I made so I can make a new character and level it from scratch again? That sounds more like your opinion impacting my ability to choose. You say choices matter, but your opinion invalidates my ability to choose what I want for my characters.
Yes? But I don't see how that's relevant? Scenario in point:Surely if you already have 18 fully levelled characters then you already have all bases covered, not least once the armoury comes into effect.
The bases are covered, yes. For that very reason. But my main is my main not through my own personal choice, but because of opinions at the time. Opinions that even now are dictating what we should or should not be doing with our characters. If I could choose to go back to being a templar tank, I would. Because each character was made for a specific purpose to prolong my enjoyment of the game in various ways? Again, unsure how the question is relevant? It's up to you whether you follow other players' opinions or play your 18 characters the way you want to do so, given that you agree that you have all bases covered. If you only want one character to be your main and to change that character's class every time other people's opinions favour your other characters, why do you have 18 in the first place?

What about if someone chose not to use a token to change his/her class and as a result got kicked from a group because their class wasn't the "right" one?
It's also another step in trivialising the game, and that is a progression that affects everyone.

Sorry? We actually have 18 character slots. Change the word "change" to "relog to alt"
