Smaxx✭✭✭✭✭Same here. Got all Dremora Plunder Skulls for three days and a ton of purple ones, yet not a single Pigment for me. Only new event drop I've had so far was one runebox for the marshmallow emote.
This feels far too low for a kind of casual/holiday event, especially considering we're also more or less supposed to shell out 20 Event Tickets for the new event collectible. No way I'll add another 10-20 Event Tickets for those fragments.4 -

✭✭✭✭✭It seems that the purple skulls are better than the gold if you already have the Dremora motif and various style pages, although now that I think of it, I’m not sure which type I got the marshmellow emote from. So far I’ve gotten five bone dust fragments which seems good to me for the first two days, especially since I’ve also been questing and decorating, definitely going for those lovely skulls, but nothing one would call farming — gotta keep it fun!

✭✭✭I've gotten three or four as of yesterday. As for combining, they can't be consistent with this. Sometimes they go into your collection, sometimes they hang in your inventory till you have the full amount. In this case it's the latter.0 -

You just collect 10 from the skulls. They stack in your inventory. Once you have 10 just use them to make the pet.
There should be plenty. I have 6 or 7 extras in the bank.

When they’re separate names pieces then they go into collections. When you need to collect ten of something, then it’s in your inventory. There are exceptions to this but as far as I know those are older items from before collections were a thing.1 -
