[BOTS] They're now openly farming world mobs!

Davon's Watch tonight, reported a whole bunch of them. They're all over the field with the ghost warriors just outside town. Just standing there waiting for a ghost to spawn. Over and over and over.

It also seems that, if one were able to pull a mob into a lava pool, the bots will follow and stand in the lava until they're dead.

Not that i would ever condone such actions ...

Yes...the bots are still with us... and they will be as long as players buy the gold of them... well, some bot are player bots because the players are way to lazy to invest time into a game aspect they dislike greatly...Harvesting. Yes, Harvesting nodes is something of a grind and boring.

By the way....the issue you are writing about has been reported a week ago. Unless there are more then two Bots I now do not even any longer to report them. The Devs know about the problem and now the ball is in their hands.

I have found out how the bots are being powerlevelled.

There are quests in high level zones that do not require the player to kill anything to complete the quest(Edrald's estate in Rivenspire, for example). There is an unending stream of level 2 bots(names like "Yhhs Ghrye Vsjjkghk") teleporting from one quest step directly to another(sometimes appearing waist-deep in the floor). The place where the final step is done(and quest is completed) looks like fireworks from the constant dinging (bots go from level 2 to level 5 there).

And right next is another quest that does not require you to kill anything... with a stream of level 5 bots starting it.

    (yes i reported it in-game)

After all this time I'm appalled the server still doesn't detect something as blatant as the pos-hacking we're seeing all over the world.

ZOS' developers really seem clueless when it comes to writing code to deal with this.

This footage was taken last night in a dungeon just outside of Davon's Watch.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESX1QJnyHxY

A lot of bots seeming to teleport in and out and one delightful moment when a rat/mouse goes up a bots skirt and then out again a while later with no reaction from the bot.

I reported the botting group as a whole and individual bots who I was sure were part of the group.

Perhabs you can all show us your amazing code, patent it and enjoy your riches.

I constantly see Bots standing around in the game and farming resources.
Why did ZOS make resource nodes spawn literally every other second and always at the same spot?
For a game that's supposed to be super immersive they did a very *** job at preventing such blatant abuse.

And I sure as hell don't want to waste my precious life time with Zenimax slow responding /bug report function. If were to repot every bot I walk across, I'd have weeks of my life gone while typing in reports in a form that feels to have no effect at all.

    Here's a solution:
    1. Make resource nodes spawn at longer intervals. Change that fast.
    2. Then work on making them spawn at more randomised locations.
    3. Have your GMs teleport inside every public dungeon and they will find bots. Hint: they're close to the dungeon boss. I really don't need them to report their adventure in the chat, I mark this as a dumb PR stunt, since it has had no effect at all so far.
That is why you have just two servers! Shouldn't involve a legion of GMs to teleport through all the public dungeons once in a while.
    4. Every bot they can indentify should get its account banned. There is the option of appealing the decision.
