I play ESO only (no other games).
I've always been a 'one-game player'. I focus deeply on one game and tend to stay there for years. As far as picking that game, I've learned no game is perfect so I do the best I can finding a game that complies with most of my 'perfect game' checklist:
    Medieval Fantasy - check
    Open world - check
    Massive scale - check
Combat that nicely supports magic and/or bow - check
Single player - a drawback of ESO that I willingly live with, but ESO is pretty single player friendly.
PC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo

Since i began to play ESO in January i have barely touched other games, mostly only other TES ones. But i still can't say i don't play anything else. I also haven't played any other mmo nor i want to because of what a big chore and grind they are, and i can only tolerate that here because i came as a TES fan who wanted to see the rest of Tamriel and the stories i was missing on.

I'm planning on taking a bit of a break soon since i want to play other stuff so hopefully ESO won't be my main game soon, because i don't wanna be addicted to it. Mainly cause i want to play other stuff, my current system can't handle group content and instead of actual fps i get a slideshow, and without being able to afford new chapters nor a sub i feel left behind when i can't participate in events, in trials nights with my guild, nor have access to some gear for my builds and that's not something that should happen when playing a game.

People still play? Gods I miss that game.
I quit playing after they stopped development, although I had a complete collection.

Currently I just play ESO, there is just nothing else holding my interest. The last game I really played was Dark Souls 3, and I didn't enjoy Street Fighter 5 as much as I hoped I would. Right now waiting for Elden Ring and Starfield, so untill then ESO it is.

Do you mean main/only MMO, or are you asking if people literally play nothing but ESO?

Maybe it's just me but that second one seems strange to me. I can understand not playing a second MMO but I can't imagine playing just 1 game, potentially for years at a time.

Yeah, I can't imagine doing that. I dabble in a couple MMOs (ESO & Star Trek Online), and then I've got all sorts of single-player and/or online/live-service games that I bounce between on my PC and my PS4. Unless something is a new game I just bought and am focusing on, I don't put a whole lot of time into it (like, outside of events, my ESO right now is mostly just doing Endeavors & poking away slowly at past chapters).

It's definitely my main game, but sadly my main gaming crew doesn't play it. It just fits my playstyle so well and gives me a variety of experiences. Nothing has yet to compare. I have LTRs with other games like GTA, RDO, Destiny 2, and BL3, but nothing as devoted as ESO. There's just no other console MMO that's as polished and with all the time and money I have invested, I'm less willing to start over.

The poll was supposed to be about MMOs, right? Because if we are talking about games in general, I can't imagine how anyone can play only ONE GAME in his life.

ESO is my only MMO and the third one in my life. I only play one at a time. I am in ESO since the start in 2014 and I will never trade it for another MMO (unless it will close ofc). Before that, I played Warhammer Online for 5 years before it was cancelled.

But of course I complete another (single) games in the meantime! For the past 10-15 years I played Elder Scrolls series, Fallout, Dragon Age, Mass Effect and other RPGs. MMO is like everyday life that goes on, while single games are like books (stories) that you read from time to time.

ESO, in it's greatness and grandeur, of course, isn't the only blissful entertainment in the video gaming horizon. My only other MMO favorite that I play is Tera (Tera has flying mounts.. I say again.. flying mounts!) The other gaming masterpieces are single player greats as the Dragon Age series, Dues Ex series, The Witcher series, Grand Theft auto series, Kingdom of Amular, Dragon Dogma, Assassin's Creed series; among others. They are all enriched in storyline, sight and sound as ESO; in their own splendors.

As much as I enjoy ESO and will surely play it till the end, I have been patiently waiting for the next release of Dues Ex 4, Witcher 4, and Dragon Age 4; all of which have been a time coming.

It really depends on how much time I have in the day as to whether I play more than one game. Usually, I will focus on one and if enough time play something else for a change of pace. Recently, ESO has been my "something else" but I still manage to log in every day even if I don't get to play any of the other games that I do want to focus on. Currently trying to play Civilization VI and I've got a Mass Effect Legendary game that I should really get back to.

    ESO is my main.

Also in Beta with Baldur's Gate 3 and liking it, but not nearly enough character customization, and it's so NOT open world.

Occasionally Borderlands 2 - ran through 3 and it's really not up to snuff, apparently they fired the writer - and it shows. I will totally be playing Tiny Tina's thing when it comes out.

Did FarCry 3, still haven't "finished it", will likely do 6 as well.
Dying Light - minimal character customization (can you tell it matters to me) it's a story and pretty much no open world play
Rift- hate the movement, but for some reason I keep occasionally coming back and tinking around with it.
    Fallout 76 - too ... I don't know - I liked 4, but they really messed this one up.
Wolfenstein Youngblood - no character customization, it's NOT open world, but dangit "ah jest love killin me some NAT-ZI's"
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Dragon's Dogma and Monster Hunter World my true main games. Sure I play ESO a lot, I haven't touched MH since last year but it's mostly cause I have so many commitments in ESO now. I'll take a break here and there to play some For Honor if I want PvP (used to be really into ESO's PvP, but now I've slowly grown to hate it.) And I'll play Stellaris if I'm in the mood to just chill. I'd be playing MH and DD instead of those two but I'm honestly just waiting for the next installment of each game.

I’ve only recently got back into the game because of a friend. I am enjoying it more as a DK this time around with a 1h and shield. It feels more weight-y than dw or bow. However, it doesn’t touch FFXIV IMO. FFXIV is the only game I have played where I have fun literally doing nothing and talking to people on it or like to afk on.

I voted "I play ESO and other games, and all are equal in importance"

On a technicality, you may consider ESO my "main", as I am in a guild where I am a trial tank / raid leader, and so I do have a certain commitment to ESO that I do my best to fulfill.

But also, I do play other games. ESO could also technically be considered my "main", because for the past nearly 2 years, ESO is the game that has remained a constant, while other games have cycled in and out of rotation, but at various points through the last 2 years, including now, some of those other games are a higher priority for me than ESO.

As it stands currently, I am rotating ESO, Fallout 76, NBA2K22, Diablo 2, and New World, as well as a text simulator that I have recently gotten back into. Among those games, the text simulator, Fallout 76, and NBA2K22 have all taken a higher priority over ESO currently. ESO, Diablo 2, and New World have been on the lower end of that priority list.

Over the course of the past 2 years, No Man's Sky, EverQuest, Star Wars Galaxies emulator, NBA2K, MLB The Show, Morrowind, Call Of Duty, along with a few others, have all filled my time as well.

Again, you may consider ESO to be my "main", since it has been the most consistent game I've played over the past 2 years, and I do have in game commitments to ESO, however ESO has not always been my main priority of games, and is not my main priority at present time, so while it's more consistent, I don't know that it's necessarily more "important" than the other games in my rotation.

ESO is my love but Diablo 2 classic LOD has been my in between game where I play ladder, etc ...since 2001 ;) . Now ESO and D2 Resurrected are fighting for my time...luckily for ESO... Blizzards legacy code and servers are trash so I cant play consistently, lmao.

Other games include: Call of Duty WZ..etc, Dark Souls Series (including classic Demon Souls)

ESO *is my main and WILL always be my love for a very very long time or until they cut the servers off.

ESO is my "main" MMO in the sense that I don't play any other online multi-player games.

That being said, I play ESO mostly solo so it's on an even keel with single player titles. I generally don't play 2 or more games at the same time, since leisure time is limited.
