BOTS gold spam.. why is NO ESO people, GM's in game taking care of this?

No its as of right now none stop gold spam. Its as if they know when to spam. Sorry but when a 3rd party app can block most gold spam and here we are 4 weeks in and ESO can do what?
Sorry I cant wisp that GM to ban.. no one there. My best hope is tomorrow. Well I have to wait one day or more. Oh yes a REAL person is reading it yet..they have no power to do anything.. ASK ESO! Just fix this!. Nothing..NOTHING has been done in dungeons to stop bots. We cant finish quests we cant get that Achievement. This is what is getting posted on forums and not by me. You guys SAY NOTHING.
Give people HOPE. Tell them what you are trying or going or working on. Saying nothing is like saying you dont care. This is how I feel. I quit reporting bots and gold spam. Nothing happens. Try it report one..come back 4 hours later they will still be in that dungeon or spam (changing names). They can be in the game 24\7 were in the game 24/7 ESO? Not even playing there own game.
I am sorry but after 4 weeks of this and now reading in chat how they are selling all kinds of items. This is just 4 weeks in. This game is so messed up. People all ready have TONS of gold tons of items. This is not 1year later its only 1month. How they going to fix this?

Rapscallion74✭✭✭Haven't you heard? This game is new and you are supposed to give the devs a chance to fix things, all the while making sure your billing information is correct so that they withdraw funds from you account. /sarcasm off
I know what you mean. I really want to love this game, but they are making it really hard with their ineptitude. Best recommendation I can make would be to cancel and check back in a couple months when everything is hopefully ironed out, however, I am even skeptical about that.Edited by Rapscallion74 on April 29, 2014 12:27AM1 -
They have started actively killing the botters in game, several threads have pics of GM's being awesome and bombing the botters dead.
And they have been consistently banning the botters and gold sellers, proof is all the names in the ignore lists that I keep clearing are all unique. But thats the problem, they botters and gold sellers keep making brand new accounts that the moderators/gm's don't know are the same old botters and gold sellers until they actually start botting and spamming again.
And just in case you don't know, there are 5-6 anti goldspam addons you can install to block 90%-99% of the spammers.

They can't tell people "what" they are doing to counter bots and gold spam... or the Goldspammer / botters will start working on ways to counter it...
That's a bit like letting the TV News announce where and when there will be a speed control... everyone will drive slow there, and floor it elsewhere.
They "are" banning people over botting, they "are" banning gold-spam...
Using an addon to stop getting spammed by "WTS Gold... 5 dollah..." helps. I hardly see any of it anymore.The statement "if you put enough monkeys behind enough typewriters... sooner or later one will produce the works of Shakespeare" has sadly been proven utterly wrong by the internet...0 -

If only. They, as stupid as it sounds, are deleting characters and not doing anyting to the accounts.
I have 100 ignored limit, I was one of the first to see "GM killing bots" sensation, I specificaly deleted 2 gold buyers and added killed bots. That was over a week ago. I can still whisp those gold spammers - so they are not only "technically" on the list, their accounts are still active.
My list is full for about two weeks, not even a single entry dissapeared.

Problem is they can buy accounts faster than zos can ban them.
ZOS is happy to generate them digital keys for stolen CC info purchased on the black market. Problem here is ZOS does not know it is bad info until the CC company a issues claim though. It was edited on April 25th. They are working on things. I've noticed the bots getting culled. The gold spam keeps changing; I think its because they keep changing things and blocking things. Right now at least one seller has been reduced to trying to spell the site with {om instead of com at the end. Will they magically wipe out the problem overnight? No. They aren't. They do seem to be trying though.
