Besides buying junk and selling them for gold?

I got all the crafting stations and there seems to be nothing else buy... only 2 different motifs and the speed trait mat...!? Do they rotate the list of items?

Mostly I buy furnishing plans. When I first got enough I bought the Ebony style. Yes, they rotate after a while, and the old stuff goes to his assistant, who doesn't want you to tell Rolis, even though she is standing right next to him.

Accumulate at the moment. When the new DLC comes out, I'll buy a set of attunables for a guild hall.

I used them to buy research scrolls for awhile, all 18 characters know all 9 traits finished that in February I think.

For the most part though I just save them till there is something I want on the writ vendor, I don't really need to buy and sell stuff off there to make gold, get plenty of that from daily writs and selling mats on guild traders.

I hoard them so I can buy attunables for areas where I just DO NOT want to mess with - where I have to kill mobs to get to the crafting areas, or the crafting areas are a painfully long hike from anywhere. I absolutely abhor crafting areas like Clever Alchemist, and any of the ones in Cyrodiil, plus some others that are just painful because of the prevalence of "annoyance" mobs. I seriously dislike having to kill my way to anything in a game. When it's kill my way to a crafting area just so I can get master writs done.... Yeah. Not happy. So I save up for 4 stations on every main, and when something that's in an area where I have to kill stuff, or it's a LONG way from anywhere... when I get a master writ for it and it's not one I already have on one or the other of my accounts, I save the writ until I get 1k vouchers, and then I fight my way to the stations, attune the crafting stations, and never have to go there again.

As a corollary: I HATE having to kill stuff to get through quests or anything else. I want a game which provides XP for diplomacy in quests; for rescue in quests (without, thank you very much, escorting - gah, you have NO idea how bad escort quests are with satellite lag), for....

Okay. I'm done. It's not going to happen, so there's no point in more ranting.

I work out to get crafting stations and last week I did afford the crafting motif glass style. But once done with all crafting stations, will have nothing left so I will probably stop doing them.
I'm out of my mind, feel free to leave a message... PC/NA

    Buy styles and furnishing plans.

It is my main source of getting valuable plans.
Can't wait for them to release Leyawiin plans that way.

but what do with used furnishing plans once you build the furniture? or do you just sell the plans?

Most of the time I just hoard them, waiting for the occasional cool furniture items from the vendor for my home.

Bought all the additional storage containers some time ago.

Now, I buy furnishing plans, some crafting stations for my homes and donate attunable crafting stations to guild.

Yes, If you get a furniture plan you already know you just sell it for profit.
Some are worth a pretty penny.

    wait. what?

yaya, collectors that abhor the grind that is 'tryin to find' will blow vouchers on the random boxes in hopes of getting a thing they actually need.

the stuff that isn't needed goes to friends or up on guild trader(s).

considered making a craft house with all stations, but there are already so many in game that are open to the public, don't really see the point.

Best use is buy storage containers, when that is done, blacksmithing and clothing research scrolls until you are 9 trait (other crafts are way faster and not worth scrolls), styles and recipes Rolis has to offer (at the very least knowing additional gold recipe permanently rises your chances to get provisioning master writ even if you don't do ambrosia, same for style books). At least basic crafting stations and transmute station for the comfort of quickly porting home and doing all the decon-upgrade-reconstruct stuff in one well organized place.
After that, well, nothing is much helpful, unless you got specific needs. Diminished dust for drinks, random purple furnishing plans to learn / sell, target dummies.

I've been buying a lot of diminished aetherial dust. Aetherial Ambrosia potions are an expensive game!
I have 12 characters, only discovered that AA potions were a viable thing on my 9th! no looking back now.
I use the pots mostly when I know a chunk of xp is coming, or when levelling an alt. Handing in writs is also a good xp booster.

I don’t get any, still slowly grinding through daily quests to get any of the motif pages necessary to complete sealed writs.

If they dropped motif pages at more than 5% rates it would be great.

Best "investment" so far was to buy the Attunable Crafting Stations for all of the IC & Cyro crafted sets. It makes crafter's live so much easier.

Sell them to raise money for missing style pages (and recouver the cost of LOTS of attunable stations)
