Why are authentication codes arriving 3 hours after they should?

I have been trying to access my account for 24 hours and it keeps asking for an authentication code. You then send the code 3 hours later and it is invalid.
Is this a way of stopping me from cancelling my subscription, and if so I will be stopping it at source and not with you. This trick will not work!!!

✭✭✭✭✭It seems that they got their mail server put on a spam blacklist last week due to the volume of emails that they were sending. If that is true, then it would not surprise me that the outgoing email is being throttled to prevent it from happening again.XBox EU/NA:@ElsonsoJannus

And that would be the page that keeps on trying to get me to Authorise the account, so yes it is on their end. rest of my mail is coming through just fine thanks, including the usual spam.
Oh and just to put your mind at rest I have also checked the spam folder.

Same was happening for me, however now it is not. All I want to do is cancel my subscription as I feel this game needs some time to fix itself.
Strangely this situation seems to be proving me correct. Oh and yet again just for the people who think it is my end, I have received 5 emails on the same account from different people since I last tried getting 1 from these people. I have submitted a ticket but don't hold much hope for it.
