Thurvokun Page Style and FOMO

The Thurvokun monster page style is priced way too high in guild traders for casual players. I can only play for an hour a day for maybe 3-4 days out of the week and can only get 1m gold per month. And that's just straight grinding im not even playing the game at that point.
Kinda disappointed im gonna have to give this one a pass since the price will just increase. Does anyone have any suggestions for players short on time? I really like how online rpgs are always adding to the game but the FOMO that comes with it kinda gives the game a sour taste.

I get that its an MMO and I don't need this item. But ESO has turned into such a grinding game its at the point where it might be worth my time to just wait until TES 6 releases.

It’s not guaranteed on vet, it only has a chance to drop on vet (and no chance on normal).1 -

✭Kinda sure that in the near future the mask/shoulder current drops are being phased out for just low chance drops (which honestly would be A LOT better). There have been a number of patch notes, both in PTS and Live that monster style pages are becoming such.0 -

Its nothing more than a temporary want for an item that holds no true value other than temporary satisfaction.
Im simply stating the grind isn't worth the trouble, some of y'all are making this a full time job for an item that holds no value when the game is over.1 -

Did you read the post? I said the way of obtaining it is too costly and asked for a better method of affording it.
I don't mind grinding in games, I get that collectibles are ways of adding playtime to a game. But the idea of someone suffering for an item in game turns me against said game.
You can't tell me people are enjoying their 20th run on Fang Lair, or spending real cash, or constantly flipping for profit just to spend it all.1 -

✭✭I paid 500k on PS4-NA. I can only imagine the inflation on PC.
My advice is to grind out 18 characters with max crafting and doing daily crafting writs on all of them. I make around 1M every week, give or take a good day or two.
I tried getting selene's style page and after 5 vet runs I gave up and just bought it. I have horrible RNG and anything that isn't a guaranteed drop seems to elude me.0 -

They are talking about the Motif style page. On Vet it's a very low drop rate, and 0 on normal. Hardly anybody does Fang Lair as well cause they feel it's a hard dungeon for some reason.0 -

Yeah, I generally save up the keys for a monster style page I want. A 5-key run doesn’t take long, especially if you have people to run with, but I’ve often PUGed as healer.
Edit: There are lots posted on traders and I picked it up the other day for 125k.

You can buy it or farm it. They should add it for sale at the undaunted area for keys, as they do with the shoulders.
The drop rate is rather very low on those pages for certain monster helm styles. I run vets everyday and I am surprised at how few of the style pages I have gotten.

✭✭✭✭✭The harder and/or newer a style is the higher the price it will sell for because there will always be someone with the gold that wants it that bad. In the end, no style page will only sell for the price a player is willing to pay for it.0 -

So your so called friend doesn’t bother with the new dungeons or the dailies, just Scalecaller??
If they’re are pugging with randoms on a Vet DLC for a specific dungeon in the queue.... How long is their wait time? Also, that’s a high fail rate, so why?? How many monsterhelm style pages have they been rewarded through this odd endeavor??
I understand farming something with other guildies or friends but randoms sounds rather unlikely.
Everyone knows the drop rate is abysmally low.
•Zos needs to up the drop-rate which would entice players to revisite such old content.
•Zos should also make the style page available for a good amount of keys, around a 100.
(*Another very loved game allows you to buy gold exotic weapons through a nicely implemented system) Zos should learn from that system.

lmao that's some bait, yeah sorry I'd rather not drag my friends into a dungeon grind for days, most of them want to quit the game as it is.
And pugging is like a box of chocolates, they're gone after the first pull and the ones that stay are the ones you didn't want.2 -
I did like 25 runs of vFL with pugs ( I tanked), got 4 Thurvokun mask pages. It's not actually as painful as I was led to believe.
To be fair, I previously did the no-death, speed-run, and hm so it really is a breeze. Only had one pug group fail and that was because they just had too low dps.
Sold two style pages for 3m right after it started dropping and gave two away to guildies for free. I didn't learn any myself. How many days left does it drop anyways?0 -

For me I'd say im not willing to pay anything at all for this item because everything in this game is turning into and endless fear mongering grind. This is still my favorite game, I enjoy pvp when it works so playing something else is out of the question.

Well, it is relevant, because as you said, you are casual player that play an hour for 3-4 days per week. And you expect that other people that invest their time, probably thousands of hours in making toons, gathering & tempering weapons, learning how to play and organizing to run for many hours through one of the semi-hardest (i am talking about HM) dungeons in the game, would sell you a motif for... yeah, i would love to know how do you price their time & effort to see if this complain have any sense of meaning.
