Not sure what you are talking about. Specailly since they put in the multi thread option. I sit over 100 fps even in places like March of Sacrifces and have had 0 crashes recently.

According to everyone that lags, for whatever reason, even if they are using a router that changes their radio a billion times, it's the servers. Always has been, always will be.
If you point out that everyone else isn't, then the response is almost always "You're lying Morgan!"
No idea how someone hasn't filed a lawsuit for selling a broken product. The game is WORSE than fallout 76 ever was and even WORSE than cyberpunk2077. I thank zenimax for the work they have done but seriously if you cannot fix the game, hand it over to someone else. Its been years now, everysingle one of us is sick and tired of playing this game with bugs and horrendous performance. In PvP especially. 99% of the reasons why I die in PvP is due to skills not working, desyncing, sustain bugs. We can overcome the clear imbalance between classes but not a single player in PvE or PvP can overcome performance issues.

Bear in mind that by and large performance issues only exist in competitive play. Many, probably most, players aren't doing PvP, trials or even group dungeons and simply don't suffer such issues. Even some players doing that content don't suffer those issues, at least not on a scale that makes the game broken or unplayable for them. The issues are very real and frustrating for those who do suffer them, but not everyone does and that is likely to be a large part of the problem in fixing them.
ESO also started using Akamai for DDoS protection 1-2 years ago afaik, which adds a notable network delay. A VPN is mandatory for some regions (mine included) as a result if people want to play endgameDebaZapelo wrote: »ResidentContrarian wrote: »DMuehlhausen wrote: »HidesInPlainSight wrote: »Its gotten so bad even with lowered population counts that its not even feasible to take a resource, let alone fight another player. Do you actually understand what you just said?
Ping to a random internet test server is one thing, ping to the game server is a different story.
In the end it mostly depends on the network route that is used for the connection between you and the server.
Not every ISP uses the same route.
Please learn how network connection work then come back here.
It's not ping, latency or unstable network.
At worst bad network gives you what? 300ms? That's 0.3s delay.
Nobody would complain if that's the worst they can get. Weird things happen all the time while under 100 latency, not disconnection, not crashes.
It's reasonable to assume various parts of the server are probably overloaded, non responsive or throw internal errors from time to time but we can't tell since the game doesn't log anything.

So the problem is ZOS gets paid even when they don't fix anything.

You just generally don't notice small blips in low server strain environments but they are there. I can fight a 100 mammoth and giants in Rift and every once in a while, you'll see abilities not pop up damage and then all at once register.
That also indicates server side; BTW. If it was my end, the server would not allow all that damage at once. Or if it does; that's an entire other problem just asking for hacks
