Just an idea for next year's story and main expansion, how about an option to control your companion's combat tactics; the two major points of interests are dodge roll and aggression.

Dodge Roll
Default - based on the weapon they have equipped.
100% health - anytime the target comes into melee range.
75% health
50% health - behaves like two-handed or dual-wield.
25% health - behaves like 1h + shield or frost staff.
Never - under no circumstance will they ever attempt to dodge roll even when about to die.

Tactics
Default - default behavior.
Aggressive - only attacks when you attack with an offensive ability or weapon. Will not retaliate when you are attacked.
Cautious - only attacks when you heavy attack. Will not attack on ability or light attacks, will not retaliate when you are attacked.

We need something like that. I hate when my healing companion rolls away. It's annoying. She cannot even reach me with her heals so... The only solution for now is to give her 1h+shield.

Same with winged twilight. Twilight's ranged attacks cause all "big pulls" painful - she stays away from player and mobs attack her, avoiding player's aoe.

All other pets need rework too - need something more than only "y" and mouse click or HA.

Can we have a checkbox for "Moves out of aoe damage" too please? And default it to yes. In my experience standing in stupid seems to be the main reason companions die.

We need an option to set their range. I avoid companion ranged weapons completely as they tend to aggro something, then continuously walk backward, sometimes even resetting the fight.

I want the option to set a destro user to stay in melee range so I can actually use the abilities they have. Watching them waste time running in to cast one ability, then dodge roll and walk back to long range to continue pew-pewing feels like it could function a bit cleaner.
