When both the NA/EU servers AND the PTS server are down for maintenance, is there a nice similar game to play while we WAIT?
This strikes me as a dumb move to have NO access to ESO in any form - it happens a lot and is about to make me switch to something more reliable.

    Yes. Arena.

You can travel through whole Tamriel, even zones that are not available in ESO and it is basically hardmode created to satisfy all veterans looking for challenge. Without addons and with completely different controls, so consoles will feel like home.

Available with really good bundle (Daggerfall & Morrowind) on GoG.

This if you're okay with a game that looks and plays like a potato.

Hmm. Maybe I've been dealing with 'downtime' in games for long enough, and have a large enough game library, that I don't go into withdrawal if I can't play ________ for a couple hours. Surely you must have other games that you play intermittently throughout the week, right? Just play one of them like usual. And then go back to playing ESO when it's available. No biggie. /shrug
