Do any of you really think that the zombie was created to respawn instantly so you could level and never leave town? If you are that lazy go buy the WoW expansion and get your free level 90 character.

As Zeni has clearly stated time and time again. If you are PHYSICALLY there killing the same mob over and over, it is NOT against the rules. If you have a program doing it for you, it IS against the rules. There is a big difference between the two

Is it ok then if a gold farmer is ACTUALLY AT their computers (which if this is the stance and opens the doors to legit gold farmers) does it make it right?

Gold farmers use more then 1 account at once... they might be there at their computers but they are not there activly playing "each" of the accounts they use to farm the gold... "That" is the difference here...

Personaly I can and have in some games played 2 pc's at once, one with each hand (I've been playing piano for over 35 years, and playing 2 pc's isn't exactly Beethoven :p ) Heck, I even once got kicked out of a group for being to mean to the healer (my second pc) :)

But more then 2 just isn't doable without hard or software to run it for you. And that is against the rules. You can not use software or hardware to automate a set of actions for you.

Was only talking about opening up the doors to Legit gold farmers or a way to make it legit :). But understandable. The main focus I was trying to get across was the game playability on both sides of the coin to a progressing player and how its viewed to them as they try to quest grind out areas. Obviously to some it is aggrivating to see people / machines constantly grind and wipe areas.

The difference is that the non legit ones have hundreds of bots farming public dungeons to the point that it's virtually impossible for legit ones to get any loot in any of them. A single legit farmer doesn't have anywhere near the same impact as a single gold seller's bots

Other players will always have an impact on someone's experience in an mmo, sometimes positively, sometimes negatively, it's part of the game

So again, since this impacts everyone's chat in Riften negatively and its part of the game, I guess we should just deal with it. Having your chat filled with "It's Here" is part of the game, deal with it. Great way to handle the situation for an MMO..... great.

Yep, it is very annoying for sure.

It's written in the v1.1 patch notes - launches early May - that players hearing voices incorrectly has been fixed.

It seems like the points being 'debated' are not very relevant to the point at hand. The annoying chat and the farming of mobs are not the points.

The point is that players are using a quest for an unintended purpose - spawning mobs on demand. Farming in this context, the spawn cycle is controlled by the player. Farming outside of this context, you are restricted by a spawn cycle that is controlled by the server.

I am glad someone explained where the "It's Here" was coming from. I thought I might be finally having one of those "flashbacks" people always warned about from my early 70's substance abuse days.

So that's what that was. I was just on that quest, and when she said "It's here" I didn't even pay attention because I had already heard it a million times, and then 7 thousand people showed up all of a sudden to swarm my zombie. I couldn't see anything, and I ended up killing an NPC and got a huge bounty over 1000 gold. That officially sucked.
