I only play one character and I bought all 10 outfit slots. I think there should be at least 15 or even better 20 outfitslots. There are so many motifs in the game and different armour combinations. I'd like to see them increase the number

IMHO outfits are a total waste of time, I couldn't give a rats rs what my chrs look like, I save such things for rl. On a similar note though I think since the advent of mystic items more slots would be nice as monster sets are fast becoming redundant for me. Maelstrom weps and mystic item effectively means you cant use two 5 item sets

I only ever bought 2 of them, when I first started playing the game but once I realized they were character specific and not account wide, I never bothered to buy any more since.

They should have a gold purchase option, in the same way you can upgrade your inventory/bank space with the increasing gold cost, instead of being crown only.

As for a total limit I don't think there should be one, or it should be a relatively high number if people want to buy 100 outfit slots, 100 character slots I say let them, there is only so many they will actually be able to use.

There could be a hundred available and I still wouldn't care if the price stayed on a per character basis.

I only have one per character, except a couple of alts who have an extra one. I think 10 is enough, especially given that outfit slots are crown-only and not account wide. If they became account-wide I would definitely get more.

I would not feel comfortable paying real money for a vanity slot. I'll just change them as and when.
So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

Ten slot is fine i guess but i would not mind more to be able to buy for a single character. I believe we should be able to dye our weapons as well without using outfit slots. So i can use No Outfit slot with a costume and have dyed weapons.

For as long as outfit slot upgrades are not account wide as far as I am concerned we only have 1 outfit slot which I concur, is too few slots.

Seeing as my main character runs around with the moth costume that makes you almost invisible, outfit slots mean nothing to me. Most of my character still run around in starter gear anyways as they are generally just crafting mules.

But thanks for supporting the game this way and I hope they add more so you can continue to do so.

I looked at purchasing an outfit slot, then saw it was character based. It's something I'll never buy.

I've only used the base 1 slot, because 1500 crowns is far too much even if they were account-wide.

(meanwhile, on Star Trek Online, where they're something like 500 crowns for 2 account-wide slots, I've got 20+.)

If the price for unlocks was more reasonable, I'm not sure 20 would be enough for me :D My space Barbie needs are strong ;)

Alas, costumes will have to do.

If the price was lower (Considering they are character only), or they would finally be made account wide, no amount would ever be enough for me since I like making outfits.
BUT, since neither of the above are ever going to happen, I am fine with my 1 free slot.

Yes. 😅 But to elaborate a bit more; probably there are others too but I’d guess you represent a minority here. I feel that the price for one slot is way too high for it being for one character only. *If* they’d be account wide, I’d happily pay even a slightly higher price (maybe 2-2,5k for one extra slot for all chars or something like that, and maybe 700 for a slot for one character), but with the current pricing I’ve only bought one extra slot for three characters, and all of those with a discount.

And as a serious question; what do you use all of the 10 slots for? Do you swap between them regularly, based on the zone you’re in, based on the activity, or how do you utilise the slots? Because my solution for “saving” nice outfits has always been screenshotting the pieces and colours before creating a new one, in case I want to return to one later (usually I don’t). The few chars with two slots I either have one outfit for warm weather look and one for cold weather look or two different colour or utility schemes (e.g. one with heavier armours and one with nice dress, or for a warden one nature/green themed outfit and one ice themed).

Outfit slots are too expensive for more than one. If they were 500 crowns, then maybe I would complain about not having enough slots. Or they could increase the price a little and have it unlock a slot for all characters, rather than just one.

Outfit slots would be fine the way they are IF they were account-wide.

As of now, it's just a cash grab, not worth anyone's money.

That's how I am too. That said though, this game needs more slots for everything in general

Edit: Also addressing pricing since others in the thread have brought it up. There definitely needs to be a re-evaluation on the pricing for a lot of the crown store account/character upgrade items. If people are rarely buying the items or always waiting for sales and still having an issue that they're too expensive, then those in charge of that feature really need to listen. It's better to sell 10 players an upgrade at a cheaper price than to sell to 1 whale at an exorbitant one. If the vast majority of your players are thinking twice about spending money in your cash shop, then you're doing your cash shop wrong.

Half of these replies are the standard cringe, "why do you care how anything looks in a combat game, this isnt barbie adventure hour". Which is a really potent example of how the forum community really is quite niche to the broader game (as ZOS has mentioned how profitable houses, furniture, and outfits are).

Yes, as a one-main myself I also think 10 Outfit slots are limited. I have an addon that helps expand my saved memory basically.
They should make outfit slots accountwide and increase the cap to 30 IMO. That's just good revenue.
