I don't understand this mindset/argument. A majority of the game is PvE-based, yet you complain about having to take part in...what the main part of the game is? Whereas PvP isn't as big of a focus, and in PvE other players can't actively prevent you from progressing. Yes, you can get into bad groups where people might not be able to handle the content they've queued for, but aside from a very few trolls, those people aren't TRYING to keep you from doing what you're trying to do. And yes, we're aware the point of PvP is to kill opposing players. It doesn't change the fact that that goal actively prevents those who aren't skilled in PvP from trying to accomplish PvE goals.JamieAubrey wrote: »[snip]
I've given up on master angler because I realised I'd have to do cyrodil. I don't want to. Simple as that. I just don't want to do PvP. So I won't and tickets to buy a cosmetic pet or mount won't entice me.

I ran 4 characters through Master Angler - starting with Cyro (to get it out of the way. I didn't die once, I didn't have to engage in pvp once, and I never saw another player except once when an AD player shared my EP character's saltwater fishing hole.
Go in "off peak" and on a low bar no CP campaign.

Thanks for the advice but it's really not for me. If I have to start planning ahead and timing things right just so I can stand there grinding fish it'll just take the fun out if it for me. I'll do the rest and miss cyrodil out. I won't get a title but I'll be a PvE master angler in my head. The rng is frustrating enough lol.

If this is the intro quest to the event I might as well abandon it now as I'm not going to the imperial city. Or will dailies in Wrothgar get me my ticket?

- Kill any Imperial City boss. Do the stationary sewer bosses count?

One of the 'world' bosses will do it!

One of the 'world' bosses will do it!or maybe not - seems neither Craglorn nor Wrothgar bosses count for this!
Personally, I think there’s too much paranoia surrounding Cyrodiil & IC
For the Sand, Snow & Blood quest, in IC, leave the base through the door that takes you into the Imperial Sewers, go forward to the first big room with Daedra, turn left & go forward into the next big room .. at the end of the room is a boss, kill him, return to base ... & that’s 5mins of your time, at most
As for fishing in Cyrodiil, as someone already mentioned, you can fish in Cyrodiil without seeing another person at all .... PvP players don’t actually trawl the map looking for an easy kill, the map is too vast for that ... instead, PvP players will be at keeps, resources, towns, & generally riding in fairly direct lines between these places
Also, if people feel uneasy about being in Cyrodiil, then craft some invisible potions .. if you think you’ve been spotted, move away & use the invisible potion, then crouch whilst invisible & keep moving away (sneaking) .. you’ll continue to remain hidden once the potion ends, as you should be crouched by then

Again, this argument makes no sense for a game where the main focus and majority of the content is PvE based. TES overall is a single-player PvE franchise. If people are complaining about doing PvE content in a game largely geared towards PvE, they're playing the wrong kind of game. It would be like a PvEer playing a largely PvP-based game and complaining about the lack of PvE, it doesn't hold water.Dark_Lord_Kuro wrote: »And pvper are forced in all pve event
