Is Vengeance Leech set worth farming?

Is this set worth farming as a DK tank? I already have two pieces, and I'm considering grinding for the third. I have relatively low magicka, so the sustain would be nice, but I'm reluctant to sacrifice a 5-piece bonus for this 3-piece. Any tanks have builds that have incorporated the set?

    Pretty sure it requires you to get the killing blow for the effects, so as a Tank I don't see it being worth it as killing blows are not often received as Tank.

    (2 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
    (3 items) When you kill an enemy, you heal for 2772 Health and restore 2772 Magicka and Stamina.

    Might be useful for an AOE grinding build.

    Don't really think a tank would get much use out of the 3rd piece bonus, your not going to be able to kill stuff fast enough to get any real use out of it and as a tank that's not your role to begin with.

    You should be prioritizing your resources on what you need to do not using any form of spammable ability to try and do DPS for the group, to me atleast a tanks rotation should almost seem like a cooldown based rotation in other MMO's saving your resources for when they are needed especially during more mechanic heavy DLC dungeon bosses, so you can keep your rotation up.

    Why not use Bloodlord's Embrace if you need magicka sustain? Or even just balance?

    I use it as part of an overland/solitary stamsorc build, it's a lot of fun
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    Better to just slot Consuming Trap if you need the sustain. The resource restore portion of the ability very generously scales off your max health/mag/stam numbers and will give you quite a bit more of everything when an affected enemy dies; without the requirement of you getting the killing blow. It's instant cast, ranged, and can be put on more than one enemy at a time using multiple casts. Put that on a couple of ads every so often and let your DD's finish them while you get back to tanking and sustain shouldn't be a problem.

    I use it with titanic cleave on a stam dk. Works great for melting trash mobs.
    Edit: whoops. You were asking about tanks. I don't think it would be as useful there. Better to increase your mag regen with a glyph or mundus stone...

    Out of curiosity, what build do you use for that.? It sounds like an interesting idea

    I am still having trouble using this effectively. Suppose I need to suit up, wander out to some delves and get more practice.

    So..I was looking at the setup I have..this is my "overland mob melting/fishing getup"

    Vengeance Leech (1 jewelry and weapons)
    (2 items) Adds 1206 Maximum Health
    (3 items) When you kill an enemy, you heal for 2772 Health and restore 2772 Magicka and Stamina

    Heem-Jas' Retribution
    (2 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
    (3 items) Adds 1096 Max Stamina
    (4 items) Adds 833 Weapon Critical
    (5 items) When an enemy within 28 meters of you dies, you gain Major Berserk, increasing your damage done by 10% for 10 seconds.

    Kra'gh
    (1 item) Adds 1487 Physical Penetration
    (2 items) When you deal damage, you have a 10% chance to spawn dreugh limbs that create shockwaves in front of you dealing 1345 Physical Damage every 0.6 seconds for 2.4 seconds. This effect can occur once every 6 seconds.

    Which leaves 2 spots, suppose I might find an antiquity for one of them...but right now am using 2 pieces of Draugr Hulk for another boost to max stamina.

    I could see Pale Order, as this is very much a solo build; but usually I have my companions set up as healers (my default). Or the Wild Hunt ring, speed when bopping about is always nice.

    You could pretty much be naked with vengeance leach and titanic cleave and spam the 2H brawler morph and never have a worry... so long as there are a lot of enemies in your swing arc. I have hundings on right now, and it's pretty OK. VO would likely be better, but I never do trials, so don't have it.
